Nice to have four men for a job, but I'm glad I'm not paying their combined wages. This may be the way things are done today, but it certainly was not the way things were done in the 19th century.
The well known double spiral staircase of Santa Fe, New Mexico, was built entirely by one man (and it wasn't St Joseph). The bannister likewise, was the work of a single craftsman.
Question for the main curved ones. My area of confusion is do thise strips allow you to make both bends at once for example there bending left to right but they also have a scondary bend going up and down following the rise of each tread do those stips allow you to also be bended in both directions?
Yes. The thin strips is to get the bend, and yes, you can bend in both directions. If my memory is correct, the strips were 14 feet long. I am only the videographer, not the actual contractor.
