Exploring the Isle of SPICE, Grenada! Forts, Food & Falls 🇬🇩

- Today we're exploring the ENTIRE island of Grenada! It's possible to drive around the whole place in just a few hours, but you'll want to take your time and explore properly. With Kitaka & family/friends we start off in the capital city of St Georges and explore the (creepy!) hidden tunnels of Fort Frederick & Fort Matthew. After hitting a local bakery and tasting some rum we roll to the beautiful Mt Carmel Falls. Then we get to the 2nd biggest city in Grenada, Grenville, to try some classic oldschool flavor ice. We stop for lunch at a new and hot restaurant called Dre Flavors for some seafood and roti, drive all the way north to the local sunday hotspot Bathway Beach, and end with an insanely beautiful sunset (and almost as good Celine Dion karaoke) at Duquesne beach back on the west coast. Grenada is beautiful and safe. They have a no-nonsense Prime Minister. I remember years ago smelling the spices as soon as I landed. Not sure if it is still that way after the major hurricane. Loving this series.

I truly enjoyed my visit to Grenada. I went for Spicemas/Carnival, but stayed a few extra days for tourists activities. I can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful Island, beautiful people, three very small Islands, I'm sure at some point cousins mate with each other and in most cases it wouldn't be purposely done.
My high school days in Barbados I met a Grenadian family, the Babies, fell in love with one of the daughters, the mother passed a few years ago, beautiful woman, nothing but love for her, she made sure I ate before leaving her home every evening after school
We call it Guinnep in St. Kitts-Nevis too. Some people would say Skinnep also but majority say Guinnep
