hey i like your video of grenada you were talking about grand anse where you were in true blue u were still on grand anse beach but u were further down to d airport but thats grand anse beach also
Loved this video‼️We were there in March‼️I am from an island that I love, but fell in love with Grenada, which is also in my DNA profile. Anyway, we did it all‼️Grand Anse Beach where we stayed👏🏾👏🏾We did two tours 2 waterfalls, chocolate, spice, rum, Grand Etang, fed the monkey (Tarzan)😂😂lunch included on the full day tour. I love Roti, and found a great Roti shop😋😋😋😋I could go on, and on‼️I am planning a return trip asap‼️You had the privilege to live there for 3 months‼️👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Nice vibe💯💯💯💯. One of my close friends grandmother was from Carriacou, we wanted to take the part boat, part air over there, but there were no Tour Guides available😩😩😩😩 I 🙏🏾for better luck next visit. Sorry I wrote a book😂😂Grenada👍🏾🇬🇩
Sounds like you had an amazing trip!! 🙌🙌🙌 I'm definitely missing Grenada, it's such a lovely place 😍! I hope you get to check out Carriacou during your next trip! Even if you don't have a tour guide, the taxi drivers in Carriacou will gladly show you around. Thanks for checking out my video!!
Some things I would add: 1) Grenada will steal your heart. 2) Grenada is for a break from reality. Don’t go looking for parties and a wild lifestyle. Go when your boss is getting on your last nerves and you need a reset. 3) Make friends with the locals. They will invite you to their home, their churches, give you fresh fruit from their land, and provide an authentic Grenadian experience and the best part is they ask for nothing in return. 4) Mosquitoes and sand flies are disrespectful. There’s a repellent lotion from India at the pharmacies that work very well. 5) take the boat to Carriacou for the views, but wear a lot of sun protection. I would recommend flying back to the main land if possible instead of taking the boat.
Great info. Thanks! Our cruise ship docs at 7am but our snorkeling excursion doesn’t start till 12:30. Do you have any recommendations for the time before our snorkel trip? Thanks
Carriacou, sister island to Grenada, is a must visit. About 7 years ago my son and I walked a great distance on the island in search of an old friend of my mom. It turned out that she was deceased, but it was still good to see her daughter. We continued in search of another old friend in Hillsborough who was still alive. My son 19-yr-old son just had the best time, including the boat ride to and from the island.
It is not true to say that Grenada is a windy island. It depends on time and place. Between Christmas and Easter the winds are higher. Although not every day by any means. Most of the year there is just breeze, which is delightfully cooling.
Thanks for sharing this information, I'm going to Grenada soon, and this info will help me. How do I get to Carriacou, they said by boat it's 2 hours so they have flights from grenada to Carriacou?
Hi there! You can get to Carriacou by boat or by plane. The boat is about two hours and the flight is about 20 minutes. Here’s a video I did on Carriacou. I hope this helps! ruclips.net/video/Ph7Ib0PFOMs/видео.htmlsi=56TeZiyRoYjt6PMT
Take the boat....its a lovely scenic ride...we don't do things fast down here. Part of being in Grenada is to slow down a bit (unless your on a minibus around rush hour).....enjoy the view and you may be lucky to see some flying fish or even a dolphin...take the morning boat...the night one you get the sunset and not much else...
Hey, I have a quick question. For these apps, are the prices listed in their currency, but you end up paying in USD since it’s through the app? I downloaded the food app just to check it out, and I noticed a pizza was $48. I’m guessing that’s in ECD, but would I have to pay in USD?
"#TieraDarlin'" I love this hashtag! I might have to borrow it 😂Thanks for the lovely compliment! When I was in Grenada, I stayed in Airbnbs. I'd say the most cost effective one was in Calliste area and the most expensive one was in the Lanse Aux Epines area. I hope this helps!!
