One of the most interesting hooks of the Boardwalk world was the Luciano/Lansky duo, and all the potential future storylines it promised. The timeskip was disappointing, and then they reduced the entire setting up of the Commission into one scene (and showed nothing of its actual operations or impact). What a missed opportunity.

Meyer Lansky wasnt somw nebish Stero type Jew. He was a straight up gangster when he was younger. He also was intelligent and had a mind for making money. If you ever hear interviews if him in TV in the later years, he sounded NOTHING like that. He had a gravely voice and was probably very intimidating when he needed to be.
