How's the flame maple fretboard compare to an ebony board? I'm still trying to settle on specs for a custom Warrior, and I'm debating on an Aire loom/fancy/classy build (flame maple cap, trans finish, flame maple board) versus a utilitarian metal build (solid color, ebony board)
The flame maple board is nice, i cant really tell the difference between it and ebony, to be honest they feel and sound the same to me, or it could be other factors in the guitars build that makes it sound like my other guitars with ebony boards. But you cant go wrong with whichever build you choose!
I'm looking for a guitar that is comfortable to play in between the legs. Is the Jackson Warrior shape the best choice, or are there others I should be looking at?
The warrior is great because you could have it sitting like a V between the legs like in the video, or you could have it sitting on your leg horizontally
@@Lithuania8634 This warrior is a custom shop which has a massive price difference compared to cheaper ones so the difference between quality is like day and night. With Jackson's (in my opinion) if you want quality then I wouldn't get anything below Pro series, X series is ok quality but i would recommend changing the hardware and pickups to bring it up to pro series specs (besides the basswood body). But I would highly recommend buying a USA WR1 or go for a custom shop!

I have an invader in another guitar and both of them are excellent metal pickups, the invader has a bit more bottom end and the black winters have more mids and sound a bit more aggressive i think. Invaders also sound aggressive but its hard to explain unless you hear it, i highly recommend both pickups though
@@LucasPestkowski I feel because the winters are a tad more mid heavy they record better. I think i know the tone your thinking about a more aggressive black metal bite if that makes sense. Verus the more thrashy/death bite of the invaders? I guess now i just need to get both sets I have more than enough guitars to try them in. lol
