I’m reading this series as part of a book club with 3 family members (all first-time readers), and it’s great for predictions and for comparing of notes. As always, you have some great predictions-and some not so accurate, but still fun to watch you try!
@@conorreads A quarter through book 3 (Oathbringer), so I have some answers but not all! Should be done with book 5 early 2025. Looking forward to it-and to your reactions and predictions.
If it isnt too late, i would suggest just reading until the end of part 4 on the plane. Because part 4 is basically the sanderlanche, and then part five is a brief but nearly wall-to-wall series of plot twists and relevations that deserves its own video.
if you read that description of that ardent in the warcamps again and then have a think about the characters from some of the other books you read you might start to see some more crossover
So many amazing predictions, some you’ll know the answer for by the end of this book and some things you are picking up on a foundation being laid for reveals in later books. Enjoy the Sanderlanche, this is one of my favorites.
great video as always! one thing to think about: in the vision at feverstone keep we see many radiants give up there shardplates and blades. Dalinar (somebody who knows the planats kingdoms and military strength), said he does only know about a way smaler number of blades + plate, and in the vision there are not even all radiants. -> what happened to the missing plates + blades?
As much as I like your "I've read ___ & predict the rest" videos, I think you'd also get a big following if you just do I've read ___ and here are my thoughts so far vlogs.
Agreed. Just hearing someone's reactions on their first read (especially when they're well-spoken, i.e. pleasant to listen to and decently insightful) gives a little taste of nostalgia, like feeling like reading it for the first time again.
My 2 cents, Conor is like a friend I've never met in real life. He's completely authentic which is a thing we sorely lack in today's digital world. I love listening to his takes, I love his predictions, shoot I admire the fact that he makes so many bold predictions that are just wrong - but he also is WAY better than I was at figuring out what's coming next. So, I watch him mostly to see the joy and chagrin he shows when his predictions are right or wrong. Guess I'm saying is that your reaction to the story is one of the main reasons I listen to you, but the fact that you've made so many predictions is what makes you so interesting - so, I'd keep predicting things.
I think something in between would be best- like for each book a prediction and reaction when halfway through, and then one when you finish, reacting to it and predicting the next book. I agree it's a bit too split up at the moment and can be a little bit inaccessible as a result, as fun as it is to hear your thoughts
This is going to be one hell of a flight if you’re going to finish the book!
I finished it…..
@@conorreadsAwesome! Those final chapters were a roller coaster, right?

Where are you up to in the book club read through?

You are right, but it is unfortunately too late! However I very much enjoyed it all
This video was great but the next one will be long and amazing. My goodness what a ride you are in for!

That headnote makes me very emotional for the herald.
Sooo excited for your reaction to the end, and even MORE excited for you to read Words of Radiance!
Some really funny predictions. Going to be a fun video for you to come back to.
Excited for you to read the rest!
I can't wait for your next video!!

6:13 So right and so wrong at the same time...
Enjoy
Enjoy the run home dude, its a pearler.
Looking forward to seeing your summary of the conclusion and how even in this video you have been pleasantly wrong
oh wow, that flight is gonna be the flight of ur life lol

It’s a good idea
I adhere to this. The predictions are fun, but I'm here for the reactions and thoughts
