    Original Fault was No Reverse, No 3rd Gear and slipping and No 4th Gear. Servo Piston Pin Bore in case showed not worn at all.

    thank you so very much for the methodical, thorough, and detail 3 video's. do you think FN4A-EL components are exchengable with 4F27E such as selonodes, differencial, sun gears.. etc?

    Have you ever had any issue removing the planetary gear? Tried using needle nose pliers to wiggle and pull straight out but it appears stuck.

    Hi, I have a fault during reverse but only when the car is already hot, it enters with force or it simply does not work, after rolling about 10 miles, could you give me an indication, the other gears work perfectly and smoothly but only foward.
    without any fault code.
    Ford Focus ZTS with 4F27E.

      hi, check shift b solenoid next to filter pickup port...also sounds like internal pressure leak. gets worse when fluid gets hot and thins out. you can do a line pressure test. the sealing rings for the reverse clutch are probably worn and/or leaking. you can remove most componenets while trans is still in car, all except forward clutch and torque converter. see my other vids.

    please, I have Another cuestion.
    When remove all the bolts, the gearbos come out? or I need lose another think??
    What about the Torque converter?

      if trans is still in vehicle, you will need to remove torque converter bolts from the drive plate that is bolted to the crankshaft. sounds like you haven`t removed the torque converter bolts, so the inspection/access plate may be the thing still holding together. cheers

      Ohhh... I understeand... if remove all the bolts... dont come out if i dont remove the screws in the torque converter firts??

      unbolt torque converter bolts and remove transmission together with torque converter pushed into transmission, all as one unit. if you leave torque converter attached to drive plate you will not have enough room to remove transmission ( bell housing will not be able to move around torque converter ). if you have motor and transmission completely removed from vehicle then it wont matter for removal. however, when you are putting it back make sure torque converter is in the transmission and pump drive slots/lugs, input splines and stator splines are all meshed in properly. when you bolt the transmission back to motor, the torque converter MUST be free to spin and move back & forward a little when you have bolted the bell housing back up, if it doesn`t, that means some of the above mentioned are not meshed in. hope that helps and makes sense cheers

      hi, usually around 6 bolts on trans bell housing to motor, 2 or 3 bolts on starter motor, and 3-5 bolts on torque converter. hope that helps cheers

    How hard is it to rebuild at home a 4F27E on a 2006 mazda 3s automatic with a rebuild kit from online ? ive done timing chains / lifters / valve stems / transmission valve bodies scale 1 thru 10 10 being hardest

      hi, usually worn trans, internal pressure leaks. check fluid level as well as all the basics first though, then drop the trans pan and decide next steps. sorry hard to say without having a look or more info. good luck cheers

    I could really use your help if there's any way you could possibly contact me I have a 06 Mazda 6s V6 3.0 six-speed automatic Mazda or nobody could figure out my problem I have my transmission flushed buy Mazda also had at ECM PCM and TCM reflashed it is still slamming from 3rd to 4th but now the problem nobody could figure out is operating temperature when I check the transmission fluid sometimes is that the right level and then the craziest thing happened when I cycle through the gears and check it again the transmission fluid is literally gone when I shut the car off started back up transmission fluids is back what the heck is going on nobody could answer and nobody seen it before

      hi, you could have internal pressure leak causing fluid to be aerated and give false level reading. cheers

      hi, all that info is contained in video...2-4 band and direct clutch ( the smaller outer clutch pack ) on mazda solenoid SSA & SSD are on ( ford call same solenoids by SSC & SSA respectively ). cheers

      @@YepThatsIt does that means the ssa solenoid is for the servo and sdd solenoid is for the reverse clutches in the 4 drum. My car doesnt give me fourth.

      That should be 3 4 drum.

      hi, any fault codes present? also you can air pressure test clutches and band with valve body out. may be worth doing an oil pressure test before you take out valve body. cheers

      @@YepThatsIt so far I can't find someone with an adapter to read fault codes on the vehicle. They only have adapter for the more recent cars. My car is a 2000 Mazda familia
