Yep it's her. My theory is that it's a game to her. Take one of the babies and out maneuver the mom for as long as she can. The mom's don't seem to care all that much. They don't chase her off at least. I do feel sorry for the babies though because they become so distressed when mom isn't around. Also, I'm always afraid she'll drop one of the babies while she's climbing through the tree's
