Correction: the M60 AMBT has a 120mm cannon instead of a 105mm. Also the mobility is pretty great on it. Top speed isn’t too high but it’s at least quite maneuverable and accelerates well.

Ex 19k (82-86) here. We loved the M1 w/ 105mm. In reality, the 105 rifled barrel meant that the original M1 was highly accurate, (more so than the 120). As the Range NCO, I observed demonstrations (for VIPs) where an M1 knocked the bottom out of a trash can at over 2000m. The 105’s other advantage was the choice of ammo: Sabot, HEAT, WEP (HE-AP), Willie Pete, Beehive (timed fuse AP), the A1’s 120 only had Sabot & Heat.
If you play the LAV-AD exclusively as an aa, that’s why your having a bad time. It shreds every tank from the side.
Edit: and If you say the WolfPack and M1128 are bad, you don’t know the play style I guess. Sit behind anything where you are hull down and free kills
same goes with a10,a6 and a7 those things are great cas planes at 10, i mean, if he talks about 9,3+ tanks and planes a he means them to play at top top tier then yeah they suck, but at 10,0 theyre great/pretty decent

@@dendis2158 it’s so slow it doesn’t matter if you try to maneuver. Also the a10 has to fly in a straight line while being within a kilometer of the target actually get a gun kill.
You 100% should do this analysis with the minor trees at some point. This is an excellent series idea!

The M3A3 Bradley has TOW-2As now, which have a max penetration value of 800mm and has tandems, which means it ignores ERA panels.
It doesn't necessarily ignore era panels. But now it treats them like normal armor instead of exploding on impact and not penetrating no matter what
Actually I really like the video, but I'm going to give you exactly my insights so you understand "why":
If I think about it, my favourite videos of you are actually the ones in which you review the most amount of vehicles in the shortest amount of time. For example, when I wanted to buy a Premium, I checked your "Premium guide" video to get a quick opinion on it.
Obviously, you don't have reviews for all videos so a quick review on a big video compiling the most amount is for me the most useful.
However, I don't fully understand why you reviewed the AMBT-60 but not the AGS and the CCVL, would love to see a review on those!

Speaking of missiles in the American helicopter trees, I wish they'd fix the APKWS II missiles, since it's missing a good portion of it's speed and lethality. Not to mention it's maneuverability.

As far as MBTs for maximum tier go, the only tanks worth getting are the Stryker, SEP and Freebrams, all with high-res thermals which helps US tanks excel in long range sniping.
For AA both LAV-AD and ADATs.
HSTV-L of course, maybe Bradley A3 if you have enough crews unlocked.
F-14B for air support is a must, maybe the A-6 if you have the $$$ for 10.3 setup. Helicopters are largely useless at maximum tier.
i do think its a shame that america didnt develop a system like the pantsir or flakrad, they could use a better AA platform. the adats is the last one they tried and the air force didnt let the army have it because they think planes should do all the work.
When It starts to cost more lions to repair a vehicle than I make in a match, that's my top tier. 😂😂

US top tier would be the best if any of the features from the actual vehicle were there. You know, like DU armor (or actual proper armor modeling at all), DU rounds, targeting systems, etc.
the abrams in the game has the depleted uranium armor package, that armor goes in the turret cheeks and the lower front glacis. you can put the best armor there ever but it doesnt fix the massive weakspot of the entire upper plate and turret neck. thats a design flaw thats baked in. abrams doesnt have anything special in targetting systems but M829A3 is not in the game and its great. it is however a depleted uranium round, i think they dont add that round because adding it would mean russia would get 3bm59 DU rounds, and neither germany nor anyone else has DU rounds, so it would make the american and soviet trees more powerful. it would also kind of suck, M829A3 is a little bit better than 3bm59 but both rounds penetrate around 700mm of armor, would basically pen almost anything and you wouldnt have to aim much.

I mean, only in Gaijins world is the T80 comparable to a US M1A2 of any type. The US M1A2 (not the export version) has world class armor and ammunition. During Desert Storm, the old M1 was recorded to eat round after after from Iraqs older tanks. Yet these same tanks easily knock out the Abrams in top tier play. Gaijin naming its ground battles as "realistic" is basically false advertising.
It should be "realistic for Putins dreams".

They could add the XM1-FSED which were a run of 11 pilot vehicles built for pre-production testing. Or they could add the M1 LRIP, which was the first production run based off FSED pilot vehicles.
@@lexonfors clearly you haven't played it. No armor no smoke grenades Russian T series from the front are impenetrable (except for breach and driver optics) . Really the only thing it got going for it's the mobility.
@@DaddysBelt92 you have smoke shells, and can LFP a TURMS, which keep in mind is now 10.0 compared to 9.3. Contemporary tanks are even easier to pen. It seems more like you haven't played it. Your mobility is key, use it. Stay mobile in a vehicle like that and armor doesn't matter as someone who plays a lot of light tanks.
Hey I use 6 Maverics missiles 2 GBU 8 bombs and 4xAIM7EF on my F-4E and its second best after F16
In my experience, the Americans are pretty good. As long as you don’t have to fight the Panzier it’s just so far all above and beyond what everybody else can do that you can’t compete with that so there’s just no flying to talk to her unless you are Russian.
Us 10.0 is absolutely goated, m1 abrahms, striker, chadley, lav, and either the av8, a10, thunderchief, littlebird, etc

The usa tech tree Is the one i want to grind but i Just can't. I'm at the jumbo and having to face only panthers and tigers Is just too painful
The US tech tree is really hard to grind around this B.R. I used 5.3 or 5.7 lineups a lot. You won't find any american tank at 5.0 to 6.0 with both good armor and good gun, so I advise you adapt your playstyle.
You have tanks with stabs and good CAS too.
@@Mendez1412 How do you adapt anything when you face tanks with good armor, firepower and decent mobility with a peashooter?
5.3 is the hardest br for America. I'd suggest the m4a2 76mm and get good at knowing where to shoot other tanks and proper positioning. Also the light tanks and scouting is helpful.
@@Chronesys you can pen early Tigers and Panthers cupolas easely with even the 75mm M3 gun of the Shermans, and if you are not a good aim go for barrel then tracks woth .50cal and finish with side shots
@falx9981 I like the t20 and walker bulldog at 6.0 and the cas at 5.7 and 6.0 is one of the best in the game, in my opinion.

I have no idea how you can view the Leopards as something superior compared to the Abrams in game, considering their only real advantage is slightly higher pen and smaller weakspots on the turret front, while being much worse in every other way.
For starters, while the Abrams have the obvious turret ring weakspot, the Leopards have the entire hull as a weakspot lol, if we are going to talk about protection the Abrams has a much higher chance of ''bouncing'' up an APFSDS on the UFP whereas with the Leopards you just die, quite literally considering the driver side is a guaranteed one shot. About the weight, well believe or not you can just NOT use the TUSK to reduce weight, since it only hurts your mobility and could only save you against an stock shell on the side, something that should be quite rare. Honestly you can't complain about the SEP mobility while carrying all those useless ERA blocks (and the ridiculous machine gun protection that makes you even easier to spot)
About other quality of life things of the Abrams, you failed to mention the HEAT with proximity fuse the Abrams have to shot down helicopters quite easily, Leopards on the other hand are helpless against them.
Oh and also you can only carry 16 rounds with the Leopards to empty the front ammo rack. I'm sure some people (mostly those who don't survive for long) will be okay with that amount but it limits your effectiveness, mostly on long range maps where you are not likely to one shot everything, and most Russian tanks as well as Abrams rarely get one shot at those ranges anyway.
I won't deny the Russians do have a better line up and (most importantly) a much better helicopter, but Germany is on par with the US at best, if you are super optimistic, and significantly below being objetive. We'll see how things change once the PSO is added in the next or nexts updates.
Pretty much, GER top tier is lacking compared to USSR, US and SWE (which have better leopards).

@7:19 It's not a 105, it's a 120. The M60 AMBT also doesn't have ''awful mobility'' IMHO, it's got a 1200 hp engine instead of a 750 one so it's more mobile than a T-72 for sure.

It should also be worth noting that virtually all top-tier tanks are moving up in BR this patch, except for the IPM1 and M1A1, they're very likely to become massively dominant when in capable hands.

It also doesn't have a better gun than it's predecessor.

Use whatever you like more. But if you want something more effective, then use Ka-52. Its the strongest helicopter in game. The only good enemy I seen was some Chinese helicopter with great air-to-air missiles
Germany was my first top tier nation and I don't think it's better than US. Leo2A5/6 is basically a worse version of STRV122A/B. DM53 may be the best shell on the paper but I feel no difference compared with m95, 3BM60 and M829. German doesn't have a good line on the top tier, you have 2 MBT and 1 SPAA on 11.7 and then everything else is under 10.3. German CAS is also suffering in the current meta. The most disappointing thing is the teammate, I feel like German has the most 1-respawn player at 10.3 and 11.7, so many prem leo2a4 and leo PL players die in the first 3 minutes and then leave the game. I used to play 20 games on German 11.3 and lost 17 of them, the reason why I won the other 3 games is because I was on the same side as Russian.

Yeah. Even with 5 sec reload. But if it struggle to pen enemy that's mean nothing. Same with Leopard 2A4 that need DM33. Both tanks are now at 10.3 so it's mean that it's going to see much armoured tanks.

They stayed at the relatively same BR, and they don't need better ammo, what they have right now is completely sufficient.
Besides, be careful what you wish for, DM33 on the Leo 2A4? prepare for it to move up in BR even further as a result, whereas right now it's comfortably curbstomping TURMS-T players.
@@JamesVDBosch yeah exactly. I prefer to have my leopard 2a4 at 10.3 with Dm23 than the 2a4 at 10.7 with Dm33. The difference isn’t good enough to be worth it
i feel like the americans are forced touse the early abrams production models, which are shit in game which forces so many players t buy the xm1 or the wolf. even the abrams and m1ip are pretty shit. only when you finaly get the m1a1 and the 120mm are you even capable of competing in game. but then relative to the other nations the m1a2s dont get that much better. they just keep pace with the meta.
US teams are so atrociously lacking in Skill that they instantly desintegrate the moment I get in a CAS plane to clear enemy positions.
US teams are genuinely incompetent with only a handful of skilled players who singlehandedly get a consistent 4-7 kills per match.
the Rank VII premiums also hurt the teams alot.
I played a lot of USA and I can tell it has the worst vehicles for top tier in the entire game. Its borderline impossible to play at certain points. The Abrams tanks have simply no armor so russian mains dont even need to aim at weakspots. Gen 1 Thermals at 11.7? Horrible to play. And there no vehicles left they could add to improve the lineups somehow as in real life US ground vehicles are simply garbage. The only reason to play US is for their air tech tree, but whats the point of playing ground only to spawn in planes.

I'm really wondering why you believe that USA's top tier isn't as good as that of Germany. Right now we've got:
- M1A2 SEP > Leo 2A6
- M1A2 = Leo 2A5
- M1A1 AIM >>> Leo 2PL
- M1A1 HC >>> Leo 2A4
- IPM1 >>> Leo 2K
Tanks wise, USA absolutely curbstomps Germany in terms of lineups and viable respawns. Germany is in pretty dire need of more/better MBTs IMO.
M1A2 Sep is only better than the 2A6 in terms of thermals, everything else is superior on the 2A6.
M1A2 is inferior to the 2A5, it's slower, the gun is about the same, and it's less armored.
M1A1 AIM is better than the 2PL as it's a 2A4 ( which is mediocre )
M1A1 HC is better than the 2A4 because the 2A4 is a mediocre tank
IPM1 isn't much better than the 2K, personally both are pretty great tanks

It's also ironic watching people dismiss the M1A2's better thermals now, whereas before they all claimed the 2A5 was so much better because it had 2nd gen commander thermals and M1's did not.
US top tier is much better than germanys, the Leo’s are great, sure Abrams have larger weak spots but killer rounds, reloads, great gun depression and overall can be much more annoying. I’ve never had issues with Leo’s. I’d also argue Abrams players are better than Leo’s. Still I love the Leo 2A4 right now, but it’s not quite as good as a IPM1, that tank is scary.
@@ezrasdemise IPM1 not much better than the 2K? Its way better with survivability, thermals, 5 second reload and M900. I get the 2K is trolly as well as having the 20 mm but there's a reason why it got moved up from 10.0 to 10.3 to 10.7.

Everything at top-tier is a one-hit-kill with decent aim, so moot point.
At least the M1's on average have the highest survivability of any top-tier tank.
@@JamesVDBosch M1 has way more weak points than almost any russian top tier T series tank. It's way easier to weakpoint an M1 than T series.

Regardless, if you have even basic aiming skills, Russian tanks are still among the easiest to one-shot.
@James V. D. Bosch The survivability doesn't matter if half of your tanks armour doesn't work. The best survivability for a tank would probably be The STRV 122. It actually has working hull armour and a good turret. Survivability is always a mix of armour and layout, if you have a great layout but shite armour (Abrams), your survivability is not great. T series is the opposite absolutely horrendous ammo and crew layout but insane armour. That does not change the fact that shooting an abrams in the ufp kills the driver gunner and commander most times. This is a contrast to the T series which has to be either picked to pieces or shot in the LFP which does not always even hit the ammo all the time because russian tanks spall less.

Also, stop confusing Armour with Survivability, Survivability is the likelyhood of dying after the armour has already been penetrated.
Armour is the likelyhood of being penetrated in the first place.
Also, M1's UFP is immune to literally any APFSDS in the entire game.
Most people don’t know they get spawn camped to fast because of all the level 16 1 death leaver premium players
