I am IITian 32 age earn 1.5 crore annually from Bihar ( living in Bangalore) average looking decent height 5'11. The only legal validity Live-in has if woman partner faces domestic violence under Domestic Violence Act and children born out of such relationship would be legitimate and will have share in property of parents, only if relationship lasts long. Also, only if a live-in relationship lasts long enough and there is cohabitation for a long period, then it can be presumed to be a marriage. Otherwise, separation, alimony, maintenance and share in property of partner is not there. This is the main benefit for men in a live-in.

I live in Canada from last 18 years. Western culture laws are quite nuetral compare to Indian laws. We don't have 498, no share from in-laws property for women when they divorce. Here family consist of husband, wife and kids. In-laws are your extended family.
Women don't get any share from property that is registered in her parents in law's name during divorce. Only property registered in the name of her husband will be considered during divorce.

I am IITian 32 age earn 1.5 crore annually from Bihar ( living in Bangalore) average looking decent height 5'11. I met 10 -12 family and girl from almost all background ( working / non working , technical / non technical , average looking girl ) . What I found that people are looking for government job people, nearby locality and someone from same background. I aggressive met people after covid and none of family was agreed to marry. I have plan to move outside India but drop idea because of marriage. I found weird reason from girl. 1. Family status is not same ( I was happy to marry with low family status). 2. Other girl living in bangalore talked 6 months have live in relationship in bangalore , 3. 3-4 family give reason that girl is preparing for government job even after her 30's. 4. 5-6 family met and not able to decide. I personally feel like instrument of museum as girl family come met and went. I never complain anything but watched your video and felt that I have to tell other side of story as well. I personally feel I shouldn't get married as men have to give all his freedom and have to earn whole life for his family rather than adopted 1 child in my 40's and pay back to society. Otherwise, separation, alimony, maintenance and share in property of partner is not there. This is the main benefit for men in a live-in.
