I can't recall how I came up with the D-minor 9/13 chord for the intro, technically speaking. I only knew that I needed an intro to set the proper mood, just as the blurry organ sound does in the original version. Furthermore I believe that the song's tonal centre is A-major, but do correct me if I'm wrong.
