Looks like a fun track. Thanks for the part where you were calling the shifts and gears. That was extremely helpful for what I have been trying to teach my son.
track is scrubin dirt in Monroe GA, its my local track
Yeah the gear callouts made the video even better. Love my 125, gotta shift it like a formula car
100% with you about shifting. Aj please keep on in the videos :)
those gear call outs are gonna help me so much. Thats my local track. Im gonna pull this video out when im out there.
Hope it helps!
Love seeing you on the 125 dude I feel like it is the best training tool since everything has to be perfect with clutch and all. Keep it up dude!
Very fast track, I love the 125's sound
Love the "catch up on reality" moment, when you miss a rut. That's still riding at its best!
Good video! It's interesting watching how a pro goes about learning a new bike and track. It was cool to see what lines you choose, how you move on the bike, and your choice of throttle control on turns. There is quite a bit a person can learn from when watching videos like this. Thanks again for the great content!
I finally got my YZ125X.?and now the only thing left stock on it is the suspension tires and rims!! It is a kick..i went up from a 50 to 52 because i am 61 and do not need to go 60 mph!! Lol. But it is a sweet bike!! Great video!! One thing nice about my X is it has 6 instead of 5!!
All yz125 have 6 gears lmao
Could you do a video about do’s and don’ts of jumping while turning. I’m pretty comfortable on my bike but that’s something that scares the hell out of me. I feel like I need to square up on the jump.
Just here for the sound. Was not disappointed! 👌
That track is Scrubbin Dirt east of Atlanta GA. Went to the Moto Academy class there last year. Fun track and class plus Aaron Plessinger was a guest instructor there!
Awesome to see you on a 2 stroke! I love it. I ride a KTM 150. Keep the footage coming! Thank you!
Awsome video. Im on TE 250 first 2 stroke.I will probly watch this a dozen times. Thanks for sharing this and gear call outs are nice to hear. Sick riding man 👍👍
Loved the angry lap after dropping the bike hehe Best mx channel right now man.
You should invite Carson Brown for little 125 battle : )
Seeing you on the 2 stroke in Foxborough was awesome! Looked like you were truly enjoying yourself!
I have been watching all the training videos😂 sold my bike maybe 2 years ago and have really been missing riding
Yes, you make the machine sing!
Gotta love 2 strokes!
What a sweet looking track
Seems like the perfect track for a 125 to jus go balls out on, nothing really dangerous about that track, an the red dirt looks so gangster
Just awesome
That track looks like fun.
scrubin dirt in Monroe GA, its my local traxk
I raced here so many times was my home track 15 years ago good ol Monroe off road ranch , not sure the name anymore but tons of memories…. Was built on a land fill
You should hear my 98 yz 125
Looks like a ton of fun! Nice callout on the shifting 👍🏼
AJ, what’s your take on the 125 outdoors? I know in SX it was obviously a pretty significant disadvantage, and how much more effort it takes; do you feel like those same sentiments are as prevalent for outdoor tracks?
I really like how you mention what gear you’re in.
Awesome video, the bike sounds brilliant! Good to see even the best stack it. :)
Makes me want a two stroke
Is there another option????
Sweet bike sounds awesome looks fun on it.... I rode that track once on my 450 it was fun but I think I would of liked it better on my 250f or a 125..
Awesome as always! I'd love to see you compare your 125 to a 150 sx if you ever get the chance!
Really great track! Where are you riding? 125 KTM pulling very nicely.
scrubin dirt Monroe GA, its my local track
pros on 125s is just awesome
Lol, crashes happen that quick, too. What did you do wrong? Video break down/Crash analysis.
Weird how you cut the video short/ended.
With the Supercross suspension it’s tough to get the bike to turn, when I crashed my front tire just rode up and out of the rut
is the action cam you used in the video a GoPro hero 10? or a hero 9?
p.s.GREAT VIDEO 😍
Not hating but the motoacadamy ad a few minutes in was a little frustrating. I think just placing it at the start of the video is much better, people who skip it will still skip it regardless of whether it's a few minutes in or not.
AJ, will you run any of the outdoor races this year?
Just an observation, I think you get on the gas in turns late, like how is appropriate on a 4 stroke. 125, get on gas way sooner!
helmet chin mount?
You head to far forward and your elbow was down 😅
Second can’t wait to watch vid looks fire
11:50 AJ can you explain what you do to pull a whip like that back so fast and late? What do you do with your body and bike?
It’s a quick movement on the jump face. The more quickly you snap the bike, the faster it comes back! On a big jump you would carve the takeoff slowly so that the bike whip goes out and comes back nice and slow! 👍🏼
@@AjCatanzaro that’s amazing. Just gotta keep building the confidence. Thank AJ, great video also. I loved it! 🤙🏻🤘🏻
He is human, he laid it down, lol
😂😂
Really? Not into the wing seat eh? Don’t you usually run a wing seat? Any specific reason why your not into it on this bike?
It just felt WAY too wide on the Ktm for some reason
@@AjCatanzaro hmmm interesting. I ran one on 250sx on your suggestion. I was a fan. Might have to do with my brace tho and having more purchase. It’s hard to squeeze In a brace on the bike for me.

29th
That’s about the only bike he “looks” fast riding..
Horrible 125 riding hardly ever in power band. bet you use rear brake to. corning speed sucks.
Yea I’m terrible! 😜
