Yes, it is the starting multi-tool which gets class upgrades as you complete the milestones. I think you should be able to do it as long as your multi-tool weapon getting upgraded to S class by end of the expedition.
Is it possible to leave the expedition and still "do your part"? I finished everything but haven't left the expedition because I'm waiting for the flame thrower for the Minotaur to drop.
@@timb4779 , you should still be able to collect the flame thrower using quicksilver from synthesis companion in the anomaly once the community completes "do your part?" Or you can wait as it seems like almost complete.
