NYCzora like what? They’re all liars. Obama was the ever first president I ever voted for in my life because I believed everything he said. For example, getting the troops out of Afghanistan by 2012, it’s 2019 and troops are still there. Why are they still there and doing what? Poverty still exists. School shootings, killings, bullying. Nothing has changed and are only getting worse imo. The poor is still poor and the rich is only getting richer.

Obama was only president for 8 years and your not going to to get rid of the bad in the world in 8 years when Congress and people that you HAVE to work with but doesn't want or try to work with you. Things did get done. Polices was put in place and all everything he wanted to do he tried and got alot push back. I don't think people know how it really works when you are the president. I agree with Ms. Mel, NO FAVORTISM over the other. Sometimes you may give the other child more attention, because you see that more attention is needed. Maybe they're not strong as the other in some areas, not that you're trying to Love one more than the other coming from that perspective.
I really like that they post full girlchat segments of old shows. Sometimes I miss shows or the dvr didn’t record.

I agree with Tamera on the topic of having a favorite. I don't think it's about liking one child more than the other, it's that some personalities are more compatible. Children have their own unique personalities and one child's personality might just be more compatible with one parent than the other. As parents we have to be aware of how that might seem to the other child and make sure we try to find something to bond over with the other child too.
Let me just say as the “not favorite”, you can definitely feel when youre not the favorite

Well here In Africa, or should I say in our black African community, parents do have a favorite child and it's not even a secret, they make it so obvious

In 2 parent homes, it's very common for the mom to treat her sons the way Loni and Tamera said (aka momma's boys) and vice versa, the dad treats the daughters like daddy's little girls. I feel bad for daughters of single moms because some don't realize they treat their sons better than their daughters.

If somebody asked me who my favorite child is... I would say all of them are equally loved by me and they all share my love... some people don’t realize that it doesn’t matter which child you hang out with the most doesn’t mean you don’t like your other children aren’t loved just as much and doesn’t mean the one you hang with the least isn’t your favorite either ! I feel saying favorite regarding family members is so corny and weird... why can’t all of them be my favorite... why do I have to choose ?!?

Even if your kid isn't told whether or not they're the favorite, they can tell. It's the parents actions with the kids. Buying more stuff for the others, going out more with them, letting them get away with more, giving them more attention or gifts. So, even though the parents don't say it, we can tell. I am my dad's favorite, and he let's EVERYONE know. I am a total daddy's girl, and my younger brother is my mom's favorite even though she says that she doesn't have one. At first my older sister was her favorite (not that she admitted it), but she moved out, so now, it's my little brother (even though she won't say it).

Lights on or off? I dunno, it just happens when it happens so...the lighting is what it is. I have never intentionally adjusted the lighting. I never understood the lighting debate because my experiences has never been that planned? I do it when I'm in the mood...and changing the lighting is a few seconds of time that might make that mood disappear.
As a Canadian, I haven't paid any attention to US political news since Don John was elected. I miss Obama, not for political reasons necessarily but because, like Loni said, he was accessible, warm, caring. He and his family are simply wonderful. It's too bad the US voted the opposite in, he did the best job and kept it REAL.
