I originally saw this 3-cube optical illusion (non-origami) at the Exploratorium in San Francisco and it is what inspired me to design the much simpler Magic Cube.
Recently (just last week) I designed this origami Triple Cube Optical Illusion with my Zoom tutoring session student, Lucas, who requested we try to fold an optical illusion of some sort, and this was one I was familiar with, but surprisingly, had never tried to design out of origami. So, this model was inspired by his request, but in designing it I definitely led the way. I also led the way in designing the pyramid inside-a-pyramid optical illusion also featured in the intro, and I taught a version of it during the May 2023 Eastern Hemisphere Members Livestream.
I was trying to figure out the name of this triple-cube shape and it turns out it is one of the pieces of the Soma Cube Puzzle, in particular it's Piece 7, the "P" piece.
This is a fun one to bring to parties. See who can see the illusion, and then let them try to help those who can't see it.

I used to watch u when i was a kid...i loved oragami. I had u subscribed from my mother's account, and then i had my own...and i just stumbled on the channel when my younger brother wanted to make an oragami...and i was helping. I saw ur channel and all the nostalgia came in my had...i just subscribed u immediately. I was really shocked that this guy is so hardworking and fun and still haven't reached a million...u are very underrated. i shared ur channel to every person i knew...i used to spend most of my summer vacation time watching ur tutorials...and it was always fun and it is.

Awesome model with a great illusion playing with shadows ! Can you do a tutorial on how to make diagrams on Macromedia Freehand ? There are many inkscape tutorials all over youtube but freehand has been a industry standard(both in origami and graphic desgin) and the diagrams that you made with freehand in the BARF newsletters and your 2 books were phenomenal ! I kindly request you to make a tutorial on diagramming : )

Hey man! I'm seeing your video since a long long time but i just had one question in mind. Why isn't Robsworld uploading? You two have been a huge part of my childhood and just wondering why is he uploading.
