Watching vids like this is convincing me to pick up a copy of VF5 because it is now backwards compatible on Xbox One! The gameplay looks organic in the sense that it is as pure a fighting game can be while still being entertaining to watch, (no projectiles, no teleports, etc...).
Just so yall know! VF is definitely on PS4. Obviously not a disc or download, however, a Yakuza style Detective game called "Judgment" just released by Sega in June 2019. This game has a few in-game Arcade rooms and Yes a full version of VF5 - Showdown is playable. I was shocked myself when i realized it. And if a Dectective game that meets Yakuza that meets Jackie Chans: Super Cop sounds appealing to you..Then you'll love Judgment and I doubt you'll mind buying it..especially when it has VF5 & other arcades included. A must buy..at least for me. Get on it
That kind of shows how low tech the newest 3D fighters are. They should look way better but don't really. Plus VF5 was originally developed on Xbox360/PS3 level hardware before those systems came out.
Honestly, in my opinion, tiers really don’t mean a lot in this series. They exist, and they are a good indication on who is good, but like it showed here, they don’t mean as much as other games.
