2019 X7. Need help. ! Am I missing something here?? I got this to disable stop/start like all of us, I selected “active” for the 2 option on the start stop, code it but nothing… still shut down the engine, need to turn off ( orange light)… turn off the car, back in the car, nothing stay on(orange light ) on the start stop… driving the car again still shut down at the light manually. Am I missing something? Yes I have the full version $49.99
Good information! I just coded this on my 2022 G15., with same iDrive 7. Coded correctly, the Auto S/S button will be ON after starting vehicle. Thanks for the video! 👍
This worked for the last 2 years for me... until a recent dealership service where it wiped my savings. Recoded everything with Bimmercode again, every setting I change works EXCEPT auto start/stop. Bimmercode shows that it gas retained the Nof Active setting, but car still auto starts/stops. Reallg annoying and a big negative to me continuing with BMW on next car purchase. G20 2020 m340.
I have another question that I hope you can give an answer to in one way or another. I have a BMW F25 X3 30d which was manufactured July 29th 2011. How do I decide if the car is of my 2011 or 2012? In Sweden the car is registered by the authorities as my 2012, but is that really correct? I think BMW changes model year normally on September 1st, but there are exceptions. As this diesel model (30d) came onto the market April 1st, 2011, is it then regarded as my 2012 "from the beginning"? At November or December 1st BMW made some changes under the bonnet, which means the air filter is changed and not placed on top of the engine. I'm not sure if there are any changes amongst the options between 2011 and 2012, but for 2013 I think there are some new options in the automatic gearbox, and an updated infotainment system. I though guess that my 2012 starts with a certain VIN number. By the way, I have Bimmerlink, but I have to buy Bimmercode to shut down the start/stop function. Here in the countryside it's just annoying when the engine stops! Then I need Bimmercode when I change the battery because I change from 90/95 to 105 Ah. AGM in both cases.
It did not work on my 2022 x7, i had the same veepeak ble scan tool plug in, when i go to coding it give me the option to buy Bimmer Code full version ( which is $49.99)
I checked and it should work until 2023 model, at least. How new are you talking? Also, if it’s the mild hybrid, I assume it wont work as that’s not the same function anymore. Thanks for watching!

Really good my 14 z4 35is does not have any stop start feature, but does have some kind of regeneration on the brakes…

Yes, I believe I mentioned that you have to buy the Premium or Full version of Bimmer Code. It was $29.99 when I bought it.
