If you push the Unlock Twice on the Key Fob it will unlock all doors. I've disabled the passenger seatbelt warning. It would often be activated by my gym bag on the seat, or my dog.
Kinda crazy you mention that about the seatbelts; I was driving today with a small bag (that couldn’t have weighed more than a pound) and my phone on the passenger seat. The added weight of my hand when I went to grab the bag triggered the seatbelt warning. I’ve had the car for 3 years and that’s never happened. Wild stuff.. also getting coded out asap cause it was super annoying lol.

“Editing is cool.” 😂 Never even noticed the backup camera warning ⚠️. I might turn that off now that you mention it. I previously turned off the seatbelt ding and start up idrive warnings. Also changing the notification rings to Rolls Royce tones to class up the joint 😂 Also, I coded the cameras to stay on. Like the front bumper side cameras so you can see if you’re hanging in someone driveway when parallel parking. They stay on even when driving (I think because I enabled video in motion). Gotta be turned back off manually with the button on the console
ooh I like that camera one.. I extended the speed before it kicked off but I like the idea of making it completely manual. Gotta try that RR chime. Always appreciate the comments brother! 🫡 🍻
really enjoyed the video man. super helpful. hopefully some of the coding translates to my f97 because i'd love to do pretty much everything you did lol
Hi. I have A F32 4 series i just buy f82 bumper and i coded fog lights off because i dont want to some warnings but now i replace my original bumper with fog lights but cant reactive my fog with bimmercode. Can someone know this?
Hey there question: For the cold weather warming, I noticed that I can turn it off for when the car starts up, but when driving it still goes off if it's cold outside. Is there anyway to COMPLETELY remove that utterly stupid warning?
Hey brother.. funny you ask because I just learned the other day something which might contradict my video. I read that you actually need to set the value to active (aktiv) for the temperature warning to be disabled. This is interesting because the car in the video (2018 M3) is set to not active and I haven't seen the warning since. As a test, I set my 2017 M3 to aktiv to see which one is right but so far we haven't had a cold enough day to trigger (closest was 37F exactly and neither of them went off). I'd say if yours is "not active" try switching it to active and see if that works.
Hey question I have a 09 335i I used the same set up with bimmer code & it works good but I recently got a 2018 540i & in bimmer code it doesn’t let me enter head unit & couple other units?? I paid the $30 what else do I need to code my 540i ? Please help
Do you know if the previous owner installed CarPlay with an aftermarket license? That will lock out the head unit from BimmerCode (not sure about the other units). Basically if it’s not in an OEM state, BC can’t read it. I would contact their support (I’ve read they’re super responsive). Another thing I’ve seen is if you have the FSC folder, that needs to be removed.
@@AlwaysSummerGarage I’m not sure but I’ll contact them , I really want to change my reverse light to led its just to warning ⚠️ light keeps popping up so I put its oem back on till I figure it out lol I don’t get why a 2018 bmw has those ugly yellow reverse bulbs
@M3_YAS_MARINA_AUS Did you install an aftermarket CarPlay license? I read (from the website I bought mine from) that BimmerCode might not be able to read the head unit afterwards. That's the only instance I know of which might cause that.
Lil late to the party, just picked up a 2017 m3 with 49k miles. Bought the same obd reader and bought bimmercode. The process of connecting it is what confuses me. Do I just turn on the car? No ignition or just have the battery on? First bmw if you can’t tell, only ever own jdm all my life😂
Congrats brother! 🍻 that's great mileage. Yeah, just put the car in the on position (accessory mode) and you should be good to go. Depending on how long you are using the app, you can plug in the seatbelt so the car stays on and hook up a battery charger so it doesn't kill your battery. jdm = my first love
Haven't done that one yet.. I'm curious if it'd work with GTS style tail lights. I've been meaning to look into limitations of coding with those lights (if any). Did you and, if so, is it worth it?
@@AlwaysSummerGarage I have both Carly and Bimmercode. Carly does built in coding but has no Expert mode to be able to get granular. I coded in Easy access where the seat slides back when you open the door and shut down the car. Great with how big the F32 doors are. Cant do it with Carly.
Disable auto start/stop - Easy access to reduce bolster ware - turn off radio when opening doors - door handle lights when reversing - the list goes on and on 😂
Zero offense taken bro. Nardo Grey is an absolutely beautiful color. I’ve liked it since we got the car but I’ve really come to appreciate the uniqueness of that particular color over the past few months. The DCT is a blast too 🤘
It's like this: "bimmer" is for cars and "beemer/beamer" is for bikes. But when it comes to pronunciation, I think bih-mer sounds ridiculous and can't bring myself to abide. Ergo everything is "bee-mer" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Coding to fold mirrors when locking is the only coding that I’ve done on my F82. Gotta go play around… 😊
