they said they had sued the director and was recently arrested in Orlando,FL by the Orange County Sheriff's Office for propaganda and harassment and my mother would always say that if anyone commits a crime they should go to jail for that. And it was a 21 million Dollar Lawsuit. And Seaworld Cares about their animals and they do conservation of marine species and i know because I'm an Environmental Science Major Student at SUNY Westchester Community College in Valhalla,NY and the going to a four year institute to study Marine Biology at SUNY Maritime College in the Bronx,NY and they also rescue animals just like the Wildlife Conservation Society.
i just wish these other people would shut up about blackfish.... i do agree they do need more space to swim in but seriously,they are well fed,well taken care of,and they have like 7 orcas in orlando and 30-40 people working full time for them not including the vets.thats like 5 people(not includings vets)per orca!

The acrobatics were interesting, but isn't SEAworld about the animals? A little human acrobatics, with a lot more dolphins performing would have been better.

I remember many years ago going to Sea World San Antonio and seeing an awesome Spinner Dolphin show with lot of jumps and tricks. Me and my cousin where there recently and no one explained what the big black whales were which were pilot whales we had to find out from a usher. I personally have no clue what this show was. It was very confusing and not a dolphin show. The dolphins barely made a presence. It was more of a human show with people leaping around just made no sense. Wish the original dolphin show would come back which actually taught people about the beautiful animals. Kind of sad I had to learn from a usher what the animal was.
i feel bad for the dolphins. they are not meant to be kept in a tank for shows. they get very depressed and they are also sensitive loud noises. they should change this even if it brings a lot of joy to see them perform those tricks

Orcas are beautiful creatures. I love that seaworld does rehabilitate and help wildlife. It's nice that the public can be educated. Yes the trainers love their animals. -Its just too bad that like a super tiny percentage ACTUALLY goes to wildlife. -Its too bad that they use these animals for entertainment in "glorified" swimming pools. -Obviously if one animal was associated with 3 deaths then you should know there is a problem. -These are WHALES not dogs. They are not meant to be domesticated and trained to do tricks for peoples entertainment. -No matter how good the care is for these creatures, they would obviously be happier in the wild. I did watch blackfish and I do realize it is a bit one-sided, but it gives some very obvious facts. After seeing the terrible lives that highly intelligent aquatic mammals are forced into at Sea World, I never went back. Dolphins and whales are much happier in the open ocean.
Look at SeaWorld at Google Maps and notice how small the enclosures are. Zoom in. You'll see a spot of blue water surrounded by an ocean of land. The cetaceans are living in a 'teacup' compared to their natural ocean environment. And they're not living there temporarily for a day or a week---but for a lifetime. Don't buy a ticket.
Ben Dixon How on earth do you stop a multi ton animal from breeding? SeaWorld no longer artificially breeds their orcas; they breed naturally by their own choosing. Seems dangerous to try and separate them while they are breeding.
Seaworld absolutely still does artificial insemination. They import sperm from males at other parks. If they didn't do this then the whales would all be inbred. (Some of them still are inbred, example Nalani but I digress).

Their healthy for captivity standards. Seaworld just pumps antibiotics in them, which is more then marineland does.
