I love the video. Well done. Here's a tip I would like to share, when adding adhesive sheets to any panel, peel away about an inch of the backing paper and apply the sticky side to the top of the panel. Then slowly peel back the rest of the backing sheet while smoothing the adhesive to the panel as you go. This method makes it so much easier to apply the adhesive on straight with no bubbles.
This video is jampacked with awesome tips and the backgrounds you created are stunning, LOVED the ink lift with a stencil😍 Thanks for this collab Tiffany, I really enjoyed teaming up with you💕
Thanks for the suggestion of putting down the blending solution first. I have yupo paper and alcohol inks. This technique using vellum is new. I find it easier to find vellum than yupo paper, so I will look for it when I can.
The results of thus vellum technique are so beautiful. I have a lack of confidence to do with the blending solution and alcohol inks so have never used anything in my collection. It helps to see your successes. Thank you so much. 🌷🇨🇦
I was scared of using alcohol inks for a long time.... Until one day I just sat and played and played. I practiced on a tile first...... Then I used Yupo paper. I do wish I would have known about craft plastic from Graphix. I would have saved so much money LOL! Thanks so much for watching.
Yes you can. I do find a regular hair dryer even on low pushes out too much air. It could be the one I have so I would give it a try. Thanks so much for watching! I appreciate it.
I was so excited to get my hands on a bunch of colours of alcohol pearls when they came out, but was underwhelmed by my results. Didn’t think the issue could have been using iso instead of straight up blending solution!! Thanks for the tip!
When I first got them I used isopropyl and was so frustrated. Then after about a year I tried them with blending solution and the work amazing!!! Thanks so much! I hope it helps!
@@Tiffany.Solorio That info is a huge help, Tiffany! I couldn’t understand why the pearls wouldn’t move properly and would just ‘chunk up’. I’m breaking out my Pearls right now! Thanks again. 👍😀
Hey! I've an idea! The way you use the ink lift... why couldn't we use some felt, cut it close to size and then, any small die we have, say maybe a leaf or flower cut the felt and stick it on there and lift actual shapes here and there from the inked background?

This was so helpful! Haven't had luck with the inks on paper so I'm trying vellum!
Have to try on vellum now, so much fun to test, needs some more hours every day...

Hi Tiffany. Came over from Jerry's video. Loved your backgrounds and your tips for adhering the vellummonce you are done. Thanks so much. 😊
So glad you are here! Thanks so much for watching! Wasn't Gerry's technique AMAZING?
Gorgeous panels. Especially the blue & green- those colors are stunning. But I love how they all turned out & I’m definitely going to try this.
Thanks so much! I appreciate it.
Glad Jerry teamed up with you. Great to see techniques.
Too often videos are more like commercials for new product.
Your art is great

Hello creative friends! Do you like working with alcohol inks? What are some of the surfaces you have tried them on?
Vellum and dollar tree poster board are my go-to surfaces for alcohol inks!
Wow!! Just amazing.

I hope you give it a try some day! If you have them in your stash already I would recommend giving it a try! I am here if you have any questions!
Awesome tips. Thank you.
Oh my gosh! I never thought about the adhesive! I been trying to figure out how to adhere that with so many things. Thanks thanks!!
No problem. The double sided adhesive is great for vellum. ❤
Just found your channel. This is awesome!
Love it.. I did watch Gerrys too. I haven't gotten into alcohol inks for a few reasons. But this is very tempting, the the effect. Thanks for sharing.

I wondered why all my vellum curled and now I know. Thanks so much for the tip! You have a new subscriber!!
I hope the tips help. Welcome and I am so glad you are here. I hope you find more videos to enjoy. Thanks so much!
What keeps it from curling while applying the ink????
Do I need a heavier vellum?
Thanks for great video.

Excellent tips TFS

Beautiful!
Thanks so much! I appreciate it.
Could you use an embossing gun on low instead of the hair dryer?
Yes you can. I do find a regular hair dryer even on low pushes out too much air. It could be the one I have so I would give it a try. Thanks so much for watching! I appreciate it.
Great technics, thanks xx

Great tips and ideas, Tiffany. I have used the back of plastic signs from the $1 store but your vellum is so stunning I have to try it!
Ooohh nice! Thanks so much! I appreciate it! ❤
Very very pretty!

Oh this is a great idea.
That dryer is 60 on Amazon in Canada
Wow!! That’s a lot. People have said they have found similar ones at target for cheap.
