I will never forget the first time i played this classic.my jaw literally dropped at how arcadey this game felt.the music especially was incredible...duck kings music, michael max music, Geese's music sounds so sadistic...i remembered i was scared to fight Raiden since he was the hardest for me at the time i was like 9.now that im.31 i can.beat him easily...one of my very first neo geo snk arcade style game and.still.the best!!!

Street Fighter II is definitely better than Fatal Fury gameplay wise, but personally I prefer Fatal Fury characters and plot (as simplistic as this is). I love how instead of a cliché evil general seeking to conquer the world, the main boss here is an american weeaboo mafia boss, who is ironically way more badass than the evil general and can easily kick your ass.
I always liked the Fatal Fury ports on the Genesis! Speaking of fighting games, I don't suppose you wouldn't mind doing the soundtrack for Fighting Masters sometime in the near future? Mediocre game, but I really loved the music!

It was made by the director of SF1 after he was poached by SNK. It was made while SF2 was being made, but came out after SF2 released.
