  • due to this aged oring, the engine oil is practically sucked by the turbine, and spread through the intercooler and into the intake manifolds. The manufacturer recommends changing this part to a maximum of 90k km for proper engine operation. in this case it has never been changed before

Did you get any errors after changing the pcv?

There is another oil slinger inside that head cover, that one wears out also. Very different to replace that one.

Yea but that one isn't having as big of an impact even when worn compared to this connector or the PCV valve.

HI, Does this replacement really work? or follow the oil in the area after a weeks and loud acceleration ??

0:20. I see the difference. Is that a new version with smaller ID of the seal, or the old one has worn so much?

The seal on the old one is deformed, widened, which allows the oil to pass through the PCV valve directly into the turbine / intake. The new one fits perfectly on the camshaft.

They both have the same rubber size, it's not so much wear as it is stiffness. The rubber hardened on the old one making a bad seal with the shaft. At how cheap they are, it's best to replace them every time you replace the PCV valve.

The end of the camshaft goes into that round brown gasket. Allowing crankcase gasses to pulse through but keeping most of the oil in the head. The one I replaced was very brittle and I doubt it was touching the camshaft at all.
