- Facing a tenure of scandals and controversy, Dan Snyder was left with no choice but to divest of his $6 billion Washinton Commanders franchise. In November 2022, the defamed owner revealed he would selling the team and speculation began immediatly about who would buy them. Byron Allen, Jeff Bezos, and Josh Harris were considered the frontrunners early, with Mitchell Rales, Steve Apostolopolous, Brian Davis, Magic Johnson, and Tilman Fertita joining the gossip later on. Meanwhile, reporters began speculating that Snyder was simply going though motions to distract from the investigations that were being conducted on himself and the franchise. In this video, we'll cover everything thats happened so far and a complete timeline of the sale, comparing it to the timeline of the Broncos and Panthers to see just how close we are to the sale being final.

Impressive and timely research. You put the networks to shame.
Another great job! This change in ownership will most certainly help this franchise. Can't wait until you do a video on the Louisville Gardens, Freedom Hall, and Pontiac Silverdome!
If only Dean Spanos would sell too
Congrats on the views your videos have been getting. Well deserved!
yep, x10! excellent work
Could you do a modern ruins story on Taylor Field? It was a football stadium in Regina SK that has an 80 year long history and was home to the famous Saskatchewan Roughriders. Just kind-of a unique way to really introduce Canadian football to the channel.
Nice video!!
I was a redskin fan all my life, since I was a kid in the 1969, when Sonny Jurgensen was the QB. I hate the name The Commanders. I think that The Washington Football Team was even better than The Commanders?
Snyder is the worst owner of any sports franchise in history of sports. He insulted the fans, the coaches and the general managers. He thought he was a football genius and just wouldn’t remove himself from the nuts and bolts of running the franchise and micromanaging everything himself.
Coaches had to tolerate his poor draft picks and free agency purchases and expected them to build a cohesive team out of. Jack Lent Cooke just cut checks and stayed out of running the team in any way. That’s why Cooke had a team with four Super Bowl Performances and three Vince Lombardi trophies.
Well jokes on everyone else he got the bank so I'm sure he's sleeping good at night
