Love just love Sam Bush!!!! I live in Wilkesboro NC so I’ve been to and worked at Merefest for many years and my highlife was to see Sam Bush!! He is the Tommy Lee of Bluegrass!!!!!
Beautiful song. Beautiful rendition. Can't wait to see Mr. Bush perform live this next Saturday in Oak Ridge TN (July 2023) .... It's a free show. Y'all come see it. Again, great video. Thanks for posting it.
Just discovered this video today. I’ve watched it about twelve times. Ever time I listen it brings a tear to my eye. Such a beautiful song and I know it’s a a Bob Dylan song but what a wonderful version. The mandolin playing is just insane.
I've been seeing bluegrass shows consistently since 2010 and Sam Bush has stayed in my top 3 grass artists since... so blessed to have discovered this man.
Always love you Sam! You don’t have any idea how many of my musician friends have been influenced by you. My son Zack Byrd and Zack Diamond grew up with you, and now are wonderful musicians!
@MusicCityRoots You guys should consider adding a room mic to catch some of the reverb somewhere and mix it in instead of just recording straight from the board. The sound, while accurate, ends up being so dry and lifeless compared to if you are actually in the room. I can stand some crowd noise to get a better overall sound. That's my two cents anyway
The pickup sounds horrible, Sam plays really hard and the pickup ruins the tone big time 👎 the 1938 Hoss needs a good mic, he does that now, just saw him with Bela last week. So much energy on the mandolin, almost 70. What a legend 🔥

I forgot about this song Love it thank you
An absolute mandolin master but just as good of a singer, always a great storyteller!
Not many mando players could pull this off. Superb solo work.
noone plays the mando like sammy no one
Sam is an incredible mandolin his playing and picking are just awesome 😎
I love the way his chop chords sound. It's more "real" feeling than the more technical way of hitting them

Anybody recognises Jessica?
This man plays mandolin, ten times better than that fella with the 100 mile a hour mullet. I enjoy this man's experience with his tool.
audio’s kinda weird
