I first bought the Lian Li o11 but then realized I had purchased a BTF motherboard…Lian Li does not currently make a supporting case. So I returned it and got the Corsair 6500 that does support it and love it. I do prefer the hinged door over the disassembly door that Lian Li has. Overall, I am a fan of the new computer case from Corsair.
Corsair's vertical mount is now available on their site. Be aware that if you use a bottom mounted radiator in your case these brackets will not work/fit.
I did a build with this and the MSI Project Zero... I did go for the link. It was actually a good and bad decision. At the end of the day, the back-side portion of case space is claustrophobic with all the cables back there--the FULL length of the cable. And they all congregate around the PSU. You'd think this system would make cable management easier, but in a way it makes it kind of tougher. The harddrive bay also gets in the way of the CPU power connection on the motherboard. You have to remove one of the HDD trays and feed the cable through the HDD bay. Annoying, but anyway... Point is, the LINK system removed a bunch of other fan cables I would have had to manage, but the hub itself turned out to be an annoyance. First of all, my fan connections were coming from the top of the case while the USB mobo ports are on the bottom. The RBG wire is at the top of the mobo, too, but that's at least pretty long. There's only so much cable length coming from the LINK hub, so between that and still being able to reach the fan cables, it became a headache. You also need an extra 8-to-6 cable.
We need a case that can accommodate push/pull AIO with a thick radiator like Arctic Liquid Freezer iii and have enough room for fans to cool the gpu and everything else inside the chassis.
The O11 Vision build I just completed has a 360 AIO Lian Li Galahad II with a push pull with a huge amount of space left. I also vertically mounted a huge 4080 Super - plenty of space.
For the black cable conflicting with the white components on the new Corsair iCUE link system which uses the same removeable cables for fans AND the CPU cooler and custom cooling components if you have those you can get white cables for them too and maybe you could potentially get other colours too at some point in the future since the cables are removable
10:02 I’ve got the same case that has 4 usb 3.2 at the front panel and I’ve been looking for the best motherboards that can support it. I am preferably looking for z790 motherboards. PLEASE HELP 🙏🏾
I think the most interesting part of the case is the wood accents that you can buyer separately. Corsair definitely noticed the Fractal North. Also, the support for reverse cables is nice.
I just got the black RGB version with a new Corsair 360 aio and Rx fans to match the ones that come with the case. I'm excited to refresh my build with this case. It's about $700 that's a lot but it will look amazing. And I'll have tons of room for any future upgrades!
Personally I feel cases in this design are a little too large and look quite empty. Don’t get me wrong it does look clean, I don’t know, I really want to like them but they’re becoming too bulky 🤷♂️ I couldn’t see myself building inside a case like this, where would you place it, it’s too big for most desks 😮😅 Great video as always!
😒👍 I like it, I have a couple of corsiar cases here, its a good thing it doesn't come with Corsair Fans, because their fans are expensive plus it uses a proprietary hub. But if u like corsair fans I guess u can always buy them separetly. The only thing I find ODD is that there is no case manufacturer that wants to clone the 011 EVO, the evo is very special and unique because its the only fish tank case that u can invert the case upside down, that way u can still see ur motherboard and argb fans if u place the case on the left hand side of the table, which is how i have my pc setup.
Amazing case, I really like that corsair did come up with an O11 competitor. If you want to go for a corsair ecosystem but still want such a kind of case this is perfect.
Everybody is doing the Lian Li O11 :) not bad thing. I actually swapped my O11 Dynamic for NZXT H9 Flow, I have to say the Corsair 6500X is the long lost twin.
Im thinking of doing a watercooled build in this case but i dont know how thick i can have my radiators for the top bottom and side i have 25mm fans i want to use with it
They have a b650e model. I bought it. Could be a good middle ground. Regardless of price x670e is superior but there are no comparison sites that include the “e” model. It goes like this. B650
This is first case I've seen since I built my rig 5 years ago making me consider upgrading JUST the case. Working with an iCue 465X at the moment, one of my front USB ports doesn't work and it doesn't have enough top clearance for my radiator, so this could be the perfect upgrade for me. Plus I like iCue RGB!
hello can I put in this Case 4x 140mm Fans at the bottom and the Front, and a 140mm Radiator on the Top, and 3x 120mm Fans in the side? Does it work? Thank you! (the new corsair ICU Link Fans)
I'm looking at building a new PC with this case, the one thing that is getting me is the gaps on the fans at the back, is this normal for other builds or just this case? Never built a new PC before so this will be my first!
I'd love to see a video where you go through the process of updating a computer. OVer the years. I got a nice ore built pc years ago and think it might me time to upgrade some ram or something.
Im getting a new pc built and im gonna use 5000d, would you suggest installing the side fans (3 x 120)? or 3 front 1 rear and 1 360 aio on top is good enough for airflow
You could fit 3 of my PC inside that thing! $200 with no fans seems kind of nuts. I think I'd probably look at that antec with the sweet front panel if I were looking for something in that size range.
I am that 1 person that won't buy this case for the lack of 420mm rad support. Honestly mostly because the Arctic Liquid Freezer III came out and instantly ordered the 420mm white RGB one, which would be nice for this case. I wonder how much this case would need to change for the 420mm rad support.

Marcus can you get 3 fans above the radiator with the setup you have there? I have the 5000D Airflow and can do a push pull quite nicely at the moment, but the top of that doesn't look as deep. Thanks
I have the Lian Li dynamic XL and it is awesome BUT.... Why in the world are the grommets in the XL black?!?! I like that the 6500x has them white. Oh well.
I'd never do a white build. I live in the desert and we have a lot of fine mineral dust that would turn that case into a dingy brown in a couple of weeks. It is particularly difficult to get off ABS. I also don't want to pay the white tax. But it does look nice. That case is massive. I am planning to go the other way. As soon as I save enough for a good B550 ITX board, PSU and ITX case, I am downsizing because I currently have a compact 3060 and I'm fine with being limited to low to midrange GPUs going forward because, realistically, I don't want to pay the money for flagship performance. I'm a child of the '80s so it all looks great to me, even at low settings. Putting the hardware in a plastic case is a waste of plastic and money. Just chuck it all in a bag. I'll figure it out.
@PC Centric I want to buy a white motherboard but I can’t decide between the Asus Rog Strix X670E-A Gaming or the Gigabyte X670E Aorus Pro X What would you guys recommend?
If your case has 4 usb ports in the front. Just buy a usb3.0 header splitter. Don't use usb2.0 headers because you will need that for everything that has rgb in your case
are amd video cards actually better than nvidia? im looking at getting the 4070ti super and i also love geforce experience (shadowplay) but if amd are better then maybe ill look there?
I've noticed, since the O11, that manufacturers have just copied each other. This is why I'm far more biased toward ITX cases, much more interesting nuances and engineering tricks that separate the form factor nicely.
I don't know that these O11 style cases are O11 knockoffs as much as an acknowledgement that the dual chamber design is vastly superior in all ways. I just wish people stopped with boring white and find some cases with colors
@@the_anxiousphotographer Happy that you like them. I do enjoy fish bowl styled cases, but the market is getting oversaturated with the same case design for more money. I don’t have to design a case because that’s not my job, I’m a consumer with an opinion, not negativity.
