I made this for the first time tonight and it was a great success! We don’t like kale or spinach so I used shredded savoy cabbage which worked. I also love the pie recipes. So much better than any M and S or Cook pie.
Kale spinach is good chards also and calaloo I grow them in my garden every summer with a lot more good stuff but that’s good enjoy your meal Dijon

Cookbook I have uses light evaporated milk in place of cream not sure if you could exchange..

I use the alpro soya cream, a dairy free alternative for the many recipes from this channel that uses heavy cream. All the meals I've made with it have come out yummy still 😊

Great recipe as always Nicky. May I ask a quick question please. Here in Thailand they have three different Paprikas, one sweet, one mild, one hot. Which one do you use?
In general, "paprika" by itself means sweet paprika.

I’m going to be using thighs too. If anything I find they cook better and are less likely to dry out if I make a mess of it!

I do this, but I use pre cooked cabbage and leek. I also make my sauce a tad thicker and more bacon. Im a savage,,I need more of everything. Your hair is so rich and lush. I want your hair.
