Thank you for the excellent revised companion video that helps to explain your exceptional PDF for using the Sony A6700 for easy Bird, wildlife, and nature photography
Thank you for this video. I have also gotten the accompanying pdf booklet (had previously gotten your book on point and shoot photography as well !). Based on your recommendations, I bought this camera but with the Tamron 150-500 lens. Looking forward to taking it out in the field for some winter bird photography here in the midwest the next few days.
What improvements over the OM 1 have you noticed? Like you I’m more interested in portability. I am unsure of upgrading within the 4/3 system. I like nature, wildlife, landscape and some macro. I feel that the IQ of the om-1 is good in good light. Focus often seems good at the time, but later on the computer, it seems out of focus or less sharp. I thought the computational features would be more useful to me, but it’s turning out to not be the case. Thanks for these great videos. They keep a hobbyist like me well grounded. And that’s needed!!
There is more “depth” to the images. Part due to the sensor and part due to the Tamron lens which is excellent. There is more and finer detail even in heavily cropped images. And I find that the Sony js just easier for me to work with in the field. I can set it up to do what I want without fuss or bother.
the Clear ZOOM on A6700 what is the max zoom focal length for your 50-400mm ? 400*2*1.5? what is the final file size? i use this feature on my A7R2 and it gives me around 16-18MP
This video is excellent One question: I get image stabilisation when I hold the AF- ON button but not when I press the shutter half way or switch focus area on the lens How do I enable image stabilisation on these two button ?

Sounds like a great combination, I am curious how you like it.
