I love coheed and cambria, i grew up to them when i was a 350lb 14 yo little ewok still growing into shape. This band is the best band in the world atm, 10th album, vaxis 2, and its a fucking masterpiece. Im a pretty tough guy, ive had my finger crushed by a steel press, but i didnt cry then. There are still at least a dozen coheed songs that will bring me to tears, blood is the new addition to that list.
Copied from a comment I left on another video: Okay, gonna nerd out a little bit; The Joke released as an EP with a re-recording of Deranged, which was originally an exclusive track on Batman Arkham City. Seems to me like they made the whole EP a tie-in with the character 'Al the Killer' from IKSSE:3. The joker ties in both as the character The Joker, from Batman, and as the personification of Al's humiliation at the hands of the woman he loves (who's name escapes me), and leads to his serial killing. Hence the dream-like murder of The Joker (a woman resembling his lustee), the reality of the bloody knife, followed by the return of The Joker (as his feelings of humiliation). The act of murder being a temporary vent of his feelings, thus his smiling at the photo at the end of the video, with the gradual return to his frustrated face and the reveal that The Joker is still there. But I'm drunk, so what do I know.
Great reaction! The song is straight fire! I heard somewhere that this a b-side off of the last album, but I don't know for sure! Keep up the good work!
as far as the joker connection this song was released with a re released song derranged from the arkham city soundtrack with a new vynl.. so im sure thats were it all connects and not in the new vaxis story but idk for sure jut my 2 cemts..
