Forgive the rookie question: How do you capture the effect you choose to map - it doesn't carry over if you're recording the arp pattern to a different midi track.
Hi, first you select "map" and then select the effect or modulation you want. Watch the steps on the video, hopefully that helps. In terms of carrying over, yes your right, the effects and parameters being modulated is not midi information, so if you record the pattern to a different midi track, it wont be captured. You can always record to audio (resample) which is what I do a lot of the time.
Oh yeah! The step arp w the expression control! Great indeed, thanks so much, Vince!
Thanks, have you tried it yet??
@ will do today! i am only familiar w the mapping feature, love that combo of controlling the velocity of the arp w the expresión control!
@@playamaqui sounds great! glad your finding it useful!
@ Thank you, Vince!

Great video
Thank you!
Is there a way the midi can then be exported as a midi so you can see the pattern created?
hey, a few people have asked me this question already so I made a short, hopefully that helps? ruclips.net/user/shortsO1gmm1NPFfw?feature=share
