One of the best, most useful, and concise lessons ive ever been blessed to come across in my many years of ableton. Been using it since ver 3, still learning new things everyday. Nice work sir!!!
This video is incredible. I saw the promo on TikTok last night but waited until I was in the studio today to watch and I am so glad I did. Not only are each one of these use cases 100% applicable, all the little side pieces of knowledge you throw in there along the way are absolutely brilliant. Bravo sir.
Great tips ,yeudah thank you, I also use sends to save on processing on heavy projects but some of those ideas open some crazy creative opportunities so toda,
Not only all the new things i learned here to apply to my projects but also your voice both blew my head 🤯 Great ways to use the return channels which most of the times i don't even use. Thanks a lot, great content as always🤟
awesome tips ! That feedback loop is amazing I just tried it out and it adds an insane amount of depth and movement. For the track bleeding, would you recommend using it for mixing electronic music or is it just a cool trick to try out and see how it sounds?
Wow. Just, wow Normally I do playback speed at 1.25 or 1.5 because pacing generally for RUclips tuts = slow & wordy af Your tutorial = v. much an exception. I wish my brain could take it all in at playback speed = .75. Mind blown. I'm seriously having trouble picking up what you're putting down because we're talking God-tier fu, never seen before I'm committed to replaying this tutorial until I've internalized it all. Wish me luck!
May I ask how you separated the bands for the multiband compression? I Don't see any frequency separation. Thanks for any hint how this works. Great tipps btw. Thanks.
Can you comment on the music theory (or origin, if there is one other than yourself) behind those chords you played during the Cross Routing section? I really like them, and I don't know how to identify / explain them
People already posted out the send issue in example one. Example 2. That’s not multiband compression. That’s 3 compressors in serial with an eq. Unless I’m missing the frequency separator and assigner before these. Not trying to hate. Good content and intentions. It’s just critical in the learning process to make sure we are guiding people correctly, brother.
Hey, nice vidéo ! I noticed you made your eq eight dynamic when you sing in the looping part, do you have a tutorial on how to make that? If not, that would be very interesting
How come you dont have any latency when singigb into the mic with effects etc? Or do you have latency but it's so low? What buffer size and what interface are you using?
In your first example, you’re sending each drum track to a different return track - not the reverb track - which doesn’t illustrate the point you’re trying to make about applying a single effect in varying amounts
@@SideBrain sorry to be a pain but do you know which ableton pack has the hybrid reverb plugin? I have live 11 and it is not in there by default for mine. I am having trouble finding it.

More to come!

I really like them, and I don't know how to identify / explain them
wouldn't the "bleeding" method just increase the gain of the track your bleeding from when summed to the master?
Didn't expect that vocal to come out of you.
I would take the credit but it’s mostly Autotune and my vocal effect chain
You don’t want to hear my vocals with out it

I am, I just noticed that. I’m an idiot. Thanks for pointing it out. I meant to sent all of them to return track A obviously
thank you
You’re welcome
Wow 10!
U r great💪
Thank you!
where is the pack, "creative extensions" that you mention?

thanks, enjoying your tutorials!@@SideBrain

@@jripjrop9893All good, Hybrid Reverb is built-in effect not a pack but it only comes with Ableton Suite version
Are you for hire for mixing tracks? If so, how do I discuss?
That vocal sounds like post Malone yoo
O.G.
I immediately subbed for the....lute?
It’s a layer instrument. I think one of the layers is a ukulele
Pls developed android apps vst live hosting android apps same to ableton live and mainstage similar software sir
I’d like to watch it till the end but your “r” kills it for me. Sorry dude but at least I can leave a comment. Hope it helps.
Ok I understand. But trust me when I say this. My non-existent “r” is better then if I try to fake it. I sound like a pirate
What even was the point of this comment lmao. Like what were you hoping to achieve? Why even say anything at all? lol
I made you lol. You’re welcome.
