ITV's donation and a (good) twist...

ITV agreed a price of £150 for using my footage without permission, £75 to local blood bikers and £75 to great western air ambulance. But. There's a (good) twist in that other charities you guys mentioned will get some money too...

philjonesuk I usually do. This year has been tough though. Still managed a big donation to a charity that outfits doctors with motor bikes, to make it to patients in rural Africa.

Aye, when you have the cash. Ironically I now have more cash after giving up my business and working for "the man"... but it's an awesome company so every day feels like cheating ;)

philjonesuk I usually do quite well for myself. However, I got married, got a much bigger place, and funded my wife's business for the past few months. Luckily she is making enough now to cover the costs of the business. Just not enough to contribute toward bills just yet. I usually take one or two big bike trips a year, but not this time. That wander lust is starting to gnaw at me.
