Just an idea: Maybe you and Joel could do a co-op survival lp where the projects aren't massive but it could be primarily focused on fun.

Minecraft has changed so much, even if you only look at the cosmetic part. Also the build is so good
You COULD place slabs on the upper half of blocks. To do this, you would have to place a slab on top of a whole block, place a another slab beside the slab you just placed, then place a slab underneath the second slab you placed. Worked every time XD
Okay, how does fWhip and Joel build 100 times better than me (and beautiful landscaping) in 1.1?

I feel this I've been playing for at least 10 years and I still don't have the skills to even make a pretty roof like they do. I honestly one of these times am just gonna stare at one or their builds until I manage to recreate it

This just made me realize I played for a lot longer than I thought. I remember when carrots and potatoes were added, and I still think of horses and terracotta as new
