I have a C63 amg, similar seat pattern. I don’t want to damage the seats during application, what brush did you use to rub the product in?
Auto fanatic can you please do a short video updating your allocation for future cars what your getting what your selling etc ?
I just ordered this, I am going to test on my Macan. I have red leather and the bolsters get blue from jeans.
Hey Phil you should cover that nice table with that🔥🔥🛠️🛠️🛠️🥊🎯🥊🎯🥊🎯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fwiw, AF wheel cleaner in a foam cannon last a LONG time. I got 7-8 washes and still had some left in the bottle. 3 oz/about 800 ml of water in the bottle.
yes the absolute best value on the market hands down, glad you finally like it in the cannon and see the yield ive been talking about for a while
I used the Griot's 3 in 1 ceramic spray you recommended on my Giulia and it vastly exceeded my expectations. A solid four months later car wash soap still just falls off of it and it pretty much never looks dirty. Thanks for doing these tests!
Great to hear! ur Stelvio washes with ease since using the 3-1 Months back, if you upkeep it and use the right soaps its a winner
Could you try it on a fabric that’s not in a high end vehicle that not everyone can afford, like Chevy, Toyota or Honda fabric
My thoughts exactly!!!!
hello, where did you get that brush ?
can you suggest anything I can use to keep carpet mats clean. Some sort of protection from mud, loose debri that gets into the fiber and takes forever to vacuum and hair. The aim is to make it easy everytime I vacuum the mats.
Bro you really think they're making sprays for thick mud are you that dumb that would be bad for the environment buy some sandles switch shoes bruh
Excellent Video
That vacuum 😍
best vac every for around the garage and cars absolute best thing i ever purchased.
whats a bentley rolls royce
1st from Puerto Rico 👍🇵🇷
Good day Humberto!
@@henryfreeman6113 How are you brother man? Hope everything is good for you. Within 2 hours going back to the hospital with my cousin.
Humberto Roche Garcia busy! First year of college is hard! It’s all online! Hope he’s doing better!
Check out Dr. Beasley’s fabric coating kit (and his other products).
Is this good for headliner?
What brush attachment did you have on the vacuum hose? I don’t think that attachment comes with the vacuum.
the brush did come with the vac when I got it along with the crevice tool and a few others
I wonder why they specifically recommend not using this on leather when it seems you had great results with it?
i think because some leathers have weak water borne coatings and maybe for liability reasons but my cars have good quality leather
The real reason would be that any coating on leather that prevents it from "breathing," ie air and moisture circulating through the pores in the leather, will lead to cracking because moisture becomes trapped in the leather. When that happens, free hydrogen ions in the moisture slowly break down the leather fibers. Not sure if that's what chemical guys thought, but that's why I wouldnt use it. I've read a textbook on leather chemistry.
What is the make and model of that vaccuum? I like it!
Milwaukee M18 i did a video on portable vacs on the channel check it out
Alfa romeo Gulia this car is beautiful ❤ thanks for your vidéo 👍👍👍
how is this product different then those impregnation sprays that can be used on shoes and coats?
not sure the only stuff i ever used on shoes was for suede water repellent spray and that stuff stinks of fumes
How about coke?
I had failure with hydro suds...when you do a contact wash with it, it literally removes beading and does more of a slow sheeting on top of many products I’ve tried. Removed beading from Meguairs hybrid ceramic wax, TW ceramic spray, and hydro slick, DIDNT complement any of them. I saw your video was just a foam and rinse and it looked good but contact wash, it removed more of the protection. Don’t recommend. Foams and cleans well though, even with just 1 oz.
Good to know! it does form a barrier that felt squeaky which was odd and it was tough to get it off i had to use prepsol and IPA many times to remove it off my Stelvio i demonstrated in that video
It's bc it's made for a ceramic coating 🤦🏻♂️
Did they stop making this product? Can't seem to find it.
Currently only available thru chemical guys
Should I want to use it on leather seats?
Should you WANT to use it? Lol nobody is telling you not to WANT it! Rephrase that question 😂 I think your asking if you should you use it on leather, probably not is the answer
Was at my local chemical guys shop. They said it’s not meant for leather but I may get it for the floor mats. Thanks for the vid Phil. 👍🏾
try it on your mats and let us know how it works but remember what i mentioned in this video with fabric and mats woven with nylon and rayon may not perform great,
I own a Ferrari 430 and I am using the Chemical Guys leather cleaner and conditioner and it is the best product I found for my seats.
Are you going to use it in yours recaros in your 350R? I was thinking of using it on mine but not sure how well it would work.
no this stuff is hit or miss it seems i am searching for something better
@@autofanaticcars sounds good. Let us know if you find anything better. I might use it on my recaros. I'll let you know how it goes.
Like most CG products, this is a dud. The ceramic line is literally a joke. Turtle wax products are usually half the price and have a much better result.
Cg is a marketing company first lol
Agreed. Turtle Wax Graphene Coating is the absolute best purchase of any product I made.
Hydro Slick is wonderful, my 4 year old Obsidian Black Q50 RS400 looks showroom new, it is garaged. Will have to try the Hydro Thread, Chemical Guys makes good stuff......
Hmmmmm not really. They make a good product far and few in between... with all the bs marketing and hype I can’t. They have wayyyy to many products that separate you from your hard earned money. Why does a company put out 30 different waxes? so many tire shines... so many soaps... to confusing
yeah i think this product does work but i wish it worked better on the carpeting tests ive done. I am curious to hear from users with fabric seats how it works
I call CG the 24hr Diner of detailing the menu is just too damn much to choose from ha ha ha
Auto Fanatic good point. No carpet is the same... even in your video. People with Chevys or cheaper cars, the material is vastly different
Auto Fanatic I’m curious to know how CG made the video shown on their channel... with the crazy repellency and marketing tactics
Do you have a link to the Milwaukee vacuum ,??, thanks
amzn.to/35O3XkY this is the one, pick up the new smaller 3.0 batteries they are lighter and last longer than the older heavier 5.0 i swear by this little vac and it even sucks up water.
Auto Fanatic
Perfect, thanks Bro 👍
How reliable is your alfa?
very go watch my 1 year ownership video, next month makes 2 full years and il do a video on it again
@@autofanaticcars okay thanks!
Did you let the carpets cure Phil..
yes i did
Great video, just unfortunately I can’t buy chemical guys as they are like F11 top coat with the bullshit marketing... huge turnoff!
Try malco products!! They have a leather “coating” conditioner. I love it! I made a video on it if your want to check it out!! The product is not expensive! Well worth it also they have a fabric protector
Malco was always a professional brand that is what we used in the early 90s in our detail shop now they are trying to branch out into more retail. Chemical Guys is a marketing powerhouse and that is why I did a real test for you guys.
Auto Fanatic I love your un biased tests! One of the few who haven’t sold out to TLC or Turtle wax... I wish more knew about malco! Wow I wasn’t even born in the 90’s😂😂.... 2002
yeah im not on the payroll of other big brands thats just not my thing ha ha ha, I have some new Malco stuff that will be shown in my best of 2020 video very soon maybe next Saturday.
Auto Fanatic yay can’t wait!!! The Canadian fellow with the big channel did his end of year awards! The company who paid the most get first place 😂😂 I’m extremely excited to see your video! As usual! Stay safe my friend:)
ha ha ha good thing It didn't cost me anything to be part of it
Just go whit carpro fabric 💪
il be trying that one soon as now i am curious of someone makes a premium coating for fabrics
great job doing a control test. these results are next to useless
Seems like CG is just trying to cash in hard on the ceramic hype, releasing ceramic this, ceramic that without actually releasing products pro detailers would actually add to their detailing arsenal. I wish CG was more consistent instead of being so hit and miss. I like their polishing pads, their VRP, but then there's so many products which I just think are not worth the money.
they have to make their margins for all the millions they spend in marketing which is what all the big brands need to do. that is why the products I created are pro level and maximum performance and value for pro detailers as our audience is quite large with detail shops and mobile detailers.
Way too many commercials...
fans reach out to have me test and show these products on the channel. my content is very diverse across multiple disciplines of automotive from owning and working on awesome cars and living an automotive lifestyle each day.
@@autofanaticcars your channels fantastic your wheel cleaners the best this one just had to many commercials thats all.
It didn’t work on my upholstery im asking for a refund fortunately a nice guy is processing a refund for me , there is better stuff online, im going to try out something else
thanks for posting, what kind of car was it you used it on? how many coats and did it do anything? did you try it on the carpets?
Auto Fanatic no sir only upholstery , my car is a mazda cx7 2007, after a 4 hours of elbow grease with chemical guys fabric cleaner I cleaned all 4 seats by next day it was completely dry, I applied two coats Barely , then I waited 24 hours for the water test , and crap all the water went into the fibers just did a small squirt, no water beating at all waste of money I’m getting a refund fortunately, im going to try something else , any sugestións please?
I can not recommend something in this category since i rarely use and try this stuff out. I may explore some options now for you guys
Auto Fanatic sounds good sir thanks, but this stuff doesn’t works I spent 35 dollars, gointo try other stuff griots have one and other British website
i did not know Griots had one il order a bottle on my next order to try out. I also think Carpro makes a real ceramic coating for fabrics and leather but its expensive
LOL ceramic coating? 303 outdoor fabric protectant works much better than this stuff and cheaper
