- Only one performer - alone onstage... conducting a sold-out audience of strangers (well over 7,000 in attendance with some even sitting on the steps of stairs in the balcony)... to perform as a huge choir- all in harmony.
It was an amazing experience to witness first-hand; how a single human being can captivate a massive audience and orchestrate a harmonic collection of voices... that are even in key!
The experience of this moment left many in awe with tears in their eyes and goosebumps all over. There was electricity in the air- where all were enveloped by the harmony on full display, and all were captivated by the magic properties of music and sound.
To feel such warmth, joy, and love- no doubt a cathartic release for many in attendance.
Jacob Collier is a musical genius who not only is a multi-instrumentalist, but is also an Uber-talented singer/songwriter who can write and perform such genre-bending music!

So rare to see someone with so much control over a massive crowd. The whole room was completely captivated from start to finish. This was a brilliant performance and I'm honored I got to experience it.
NEW twist- at 4:07 Jacob 'played" a MINOR 7th audience chord and you guys nailed it! I find it fascinating that his fans can actually sing in key- has to be unique amongst Jacob Collier fans. Always so moving to listen to these- makes me tear up every time.
He did it again in Portland two nights later. I couldn't believe it when I saw it live. But this vid and others which have been posted from the same summer to YT confirm it. Wow. Not just Jacob, but his fans. FREAKING AWESOME!
This is an example of the power of unity. You not only have to listen to those around you to hold the balance of the chord, but appreciate everyone’s contribution to the outcome. Jacob is a master of harnessing love energy in a way that brings people together for an experience far beyond just a concert.
And thank you so much for capturing this on video. The moment was so big. I forgot I even had my phone in my pocket much less get it out and start filming.

SO grateful you recorded this! I was 2nd row center and you never hear the full beauty of the entire auditorium harmonizing so well! Love how he said the very 1st time he ever did an "audience choir" was in San Francisco, Feb 2019 playing Blackbird, so cool!
To be in the audience and have the experience was awesome it gave me goosebumps. The over tones when it was in tune a balanced. Thank you Jacob for a very memorable night. M

The hot dogs sold by the 5,000 small stands outside the Theater after the show were great too.
