Always makes me tear up thinking of my first time seeing the northern lights in the game. Out on a snow covered mountain, snow blowing around, my character looks around, no enemies, just quiet. Then the music starts playing, and i look up and see the northern lights. I was home, sick, tired, and alone at the time. Skyrim helped me so much.
I'm going through a rough time right now, just got laid off and its been real stressful figuring out my next steps. But coming home and turning on this channel really helps sooth and calm me down, reminds me this too will pass. Thank you AW, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for the work you do. OCT 2024 EDIT: For all of you wonderful people who have commented support and love to me over the past year, thank you. I have gone back to school, and this December I will be graduating with my Associates, and I hope to get into the Bachelor's program at my school. I've still a journey ahead, but my resolve has never been greater. So once again, thank all of you, and a special thank you to Ambient Worlds; your videos have seen me through many study sessions these past few months.
Still hard to believe it's been out that long. I still remember when Morrowind and Oblivion came out, and how those both knocked our proverbial dicks in the dirt also. Hopefully with all the time they've had to finish the next one, it will be truly monumental. ESO was neat, but I got tired of it very quickly, and it didn't scratch my Elder Scrolls itch.
Skyrim really is an one of a kind game and after so many years of playing in my ps3 with more than 6000k hours I have the anniversary edition and I can play the dlc’s for the first time in my life
This weather is coming my friends....I hate the cold but find the snow and snowstorms beautiful. It also makes me feel nostalgic about Skyrim too. Some days the weather just hits right and it's like living in Skyrim for real ❤
Morrowind and Oblivion have been my go to music sonce high school. Now married, my wife calls the Elder Scrolls soundtracks our “sleepy time music” and can’t go to bed without them. That’s the life.
There is nothing better than waking up every morning to drink a cup of coffee and listen to such a music. Thank you for giving me such relaxing moments. Thanks again
I'm sitting at my computer with a painful injury, and I actually feel happy just listening to this beautiful music! It's magical, peaceful, and healing....
Winter has an unusual feel of peace and tranquility.. Snow is silent and the white fields give a sense of inner and outer infinity. 😇 It is an immersion in the immensity of nothingnes.. White endless space. Thank you so much for this absolutely magical video. 🙏💗💞Have a blessed day. 😇💖💗❤️
I honestly adore not only your ambient mixes, but the slow and cozy walk throughs of such beautiful scenery. I love to glance back while I'm working on something stressful, and let myself wander for a while. :) I hope everyone else has a nice walk along with me.
61 here Skyrim draws you in to an immersion level that most games can't compete with. As a piece of creativity, not just games, it is a marvellous achievement. It touches you in ways that great art hopes to touch you and Jeremy Soule's score is deeply beautiful. In comparison.......... Starfield 😑
I love your previous Skyrim Winter video and I used it a lot when I am at work. When this video popped up, I was pleasantly surprised. Now I have two videos to listen and watch.
I just bought Elder Scrolls Anniversary edition, as I've never played any of the Skyrim games before. I loved the music to begin with, and am getting better with the style of game play but do love just wandering around the map, fighting off the occasional skeleton or bandit, that sort of thing. 😉
I love that I am just now experiencing all the things folks are posting. I just started playing 4 months ago and am completely emerged in the same experiences all of you have a decade ago. It's just fantastic. My son asked me if I have taken any long nights sleep lately. I said come to think of it no. So I slept for 10 hrs. in my homestead. Woke up in a room with Astrid sitting on a bookcase telling me to question 3 people kneeling blindfolded on the floor and to kill one of them that I thought had a contract on them. Took about 3 seconds to realize I needed to slay all 3 or even slay Astrid. Welcome to the Dark Brotherhood. Still so much to do and find. Just incredible. I did read where they used some 20 voice characters for S5. And with S6 there are over 1600 voice characters. I cannot imagine how massive S6 is going to be when it comes out. I am seeing 2026/2027 timeframe? So I still get to enjoy S5 for 2 more years.
This is absolutely perfect, Skyrim’s music and atmosphere will never fail to bring me such peace and comfort :’) This game will always own my heart ♥️ Thank you for this!
I was going to listen to another one of your videos, but then I remembered the promise I made to myself. To watch every single video the night after it comes out. And this one is no exception. It sounds AMAZING by the way. I love the soundtrack, and I love the little ambient sounds (ie the wind blowing) in there.
Thank you for the new gorgeous mix! You are hands down the best at this. I LOVE your Skyrim winter videos (well, all of your Skyrim/Elder Scrolls videos,) so I am VERY excited for the new one!
This is excellent music when you get lost in the Chenarus map on DayZ Standalone. Can't believe I'm saying this all these years later, but that game has some beautiful visuals now.
As I stare at The Rustic Minnesota sky as it turns a Misty Grey I can't help it be drawn to this music the snow the cold the atmosphere the wind blowing in my face like a mistress with a cold Melody Skyrim winter ambience is truly remarkable a masterpiece
The cinematics are so lovely too. I swear, if someone really good went dark for 6 months to make a short film in Skyrim it could be done. Mods are a wonderful thing.
As the stars twinkle above, may everyone's dreams be filled with joy and adventure. Goodnight, and may everyone awaken refreshed and ready to conquer a new day 😊💓💤🌟😴💓💖☺🌟🌙✨
The best music for the books reading of Robert Jordan "The wheel of time". I almost finished the first part of the books and i read and i listen the music. I have the game but i preffer to read books than to play games. The world of Skyrim is the best for the Wheel of time.
I like very much this game. I download it this year. I never heard before about the game. Thanks for the music. I read the book The wheel of time of Robert Jordan with this music and is great for the book. Thanks again.
personally i feel really touched by the musics, as a fan of skyrim, i'm glad to see that even people who didn't played are able to feel the same as me, meaning it's not just an illusion or some childhood memory
I'm always wondering about those feelings, when i stare at that melody, that voice, making me travel far, far away, i close my eyes, and i'm in that field, nobody, a calm night, with a glacial wind, but even that cold, this wind feel just like a heat caress, holding my sword, carrying my equipment, when i'm there, i always face this strange monolith, with a piece of flag on top, a simple red tissu, like a point for travelers, and so am i, traveling, just walking, running, watching carefully everything arround, in hope of catching something interesting, those moments really make me feel about adam, first human on earth, having the chance to see by myself the creation on earth, walking alone in this vague terrain that has just been created by the hands of god, and me, simple man, walking on my way, to find a destination, when it's done, when i don't ear any song, i just ear this weird voice, this strange sensation of evaportation, those memories, yeah, maybe it's what they were, some kind of illusion, an abstraction, nothing but a dream, taken away by the wind, just like a dead butterfly, ephemeral, just floatting arround, until it sease to resist from the wind, and get sent back to heaven. this little prose was wroten on the moment, this is my gift for all of you, not perfect words or work here, just a few words that directly came down from my head to the keyboard, i wish all of you a great life, and a mind at least as peacefull as mine now 😇💓🙏
If you play on PC, you can use console commands to help you out! You could open console commands, click on an enemy, type 'kill' then hit enter, and you won't have to fight them. Another way is to type 'tcai' and hit enter; this should turn off the combat AI and stop other characters from attacking you.
On Saturday i visited my old home village. I took a walk in the forest, went down to the river (name: "Regen") and it was magical. it was -2 ° Celsius and there were icicles on the rock formations but at the same moment really warm sunshine and big slowly tumbling snowflakes. it was literally a scene out of Skyrim and my body and mind reacted really emotional. Today, back in the big city, I craved for that feeling and landed here.
I love Skyrim! Well I love watching my brother play Skyrim... Is there anyway you could make a Studio Ghibli ambience? That has some of my favorite instrumentals of all time!!
It really speaks to one's cognitive ability to say Skyrim in any shape or form is an overrated game. Probably one of the best games I've ever played and I have played all the Elder Scrolls games and this was by far the best experience overall.
Best experience in more than forty years of gaming. It transcends the standards of immersion we're used to and hits you directly in the deepest bit of your feels. I genuinely love it even though that seems ridiculous to have such deep feelings for a game. It's genuinely a beautiful work of art.

Stay strong mate! There is almost always a light at the end of that dark tunnel.
Sending luck to you brother
Such a dope comment 🙌
Stay strong, stay focused, you got this, we got this mate, keep it up
Hope things have turned around for you. Well pray for you. God bless
Over eleven years later and I'm still not sick of Skyrim ♥
Over eleven years and I still see Skyrim as the "new one" amongst the Elder Scrolls games.

I am regularly using Skyrim and Oblivion ambience to bring my mind to slow down in the evening or to sleep so this is the best thing now.

You should read "Winter: Five Windows on the Season" by Adam Gopnik, I think you'd enjoy it a lot.
@@alexeikazakov4806 Thank you so much dear for the suggestion 🙏😇. Have a blessed day. 🤗💖💕💞
Morrowind is a special piece of music that will live on forever
i will hold in my last will, that they have to play the morrowind theme on my funeral. not lying.

Been playing since release day. Skyrim is a second home for sure.
I love your previous Skyrim Winter video and I used it a lot when I am at work. When this video popped up, I was pleasantly surprised. Now I have two videos to listen and watch.
How I love that this game is still relevant after a decade
I just bought Elder Scrolls Anniversary edition, as I've never played any of the Skyrim games before. I loved the music to begin with, and am getting better with the style of game play but do love just wandering around the map, fighting off the occasional skeleton or bandit, that sort of thing. 😉
Love it - the slow tracking shots are very immersive. Love me some Elder Scrolls!
Excellent stuff Tyler! Glad to see you are incorporating ESO music in these videos too - Brad Derrick did some amazing work with that soundtrack
Your Skyrim content inspired me to do more! Yours are the very best.
@@AmbientWorlds Well thank you sir! I always love to hear that my stuff is inspiring or helping people.

This is the best Elder Scrolls ambience video on RUclips.
I'm truly impressed . A beautiful ambience . The visuals and playlist are spot-on . Thanks, Ambient Worlds for sharing !! 😉

Skyrim's environments are truly beautiful. Thank you for compiling this walk-through. ❤
TES has some of the greatest score there is. Thanks for this, this really helps during the current exam period!!
