Great tutorial. I find my singing bowls sustain longer if placed upon a ceramic cereal, soup, or dinner or salad plate, placed upon a solid surface like a table. For proper balance, I place solid, 1/8th inch large key rings under them. Aloha from Hawaii.
I'm excited for you! Now that I've had these for a year (the colored set is at the yoga studio) I have to say that I kind of like them over the white set just because it is easier to remember which note is which when playing them.
Just ordered a 432 hZ perfect pitch crown chakra (B note) bowl for my bday I hope it comes in one piece and I hope when I test it with hubby’s little tuner that it comes up as perfect pitch 🙏🏻
I feel like some are flat. I'm afraid to buy it. Because I don't know if they are truly tuned since I have no idea what they supposes to be and afraid getting a bad one that's gonna explode my body. I was at a local store in Colorado. The 12 inch one alone goes for $449
I don't think you'd need to worry about one exploding your body! But I get what you mean. The individual bowls at metaphysical shops can be ridiculously expensive. I've been very happy with this set and the value for the money. Anyone I've used them on or has come to a sound bath event I've held has found them very healing and soothing.
Beautiful! I literally just bought a coloured set because I love the colour! and great for colour therapy and easier for me for visualizing chakras. I’m so excited!! Might sound a little flat than the white could it be from the carpet ?
I kinda wish I'd kept the color set for that reason. Every time I use the white bowls I need to remind myself which one is which. Someday I'll take the time to make labels for them. At the very least I will put small colored stickers on them. Enjoy your new bowls!
I would just send them back if I were you. I feel like something might happen to them and then you would be held responsible. Also, I remember that Memorex commercial well, but I remembered it with the jazz singer Ella Fitzgerald. Maybe there were two.
Yes, exactly! I no longer have the rainbow set. I've checked the tuning on my metal bowls and found a few of them off key. I still haven't taken the time to further check the white crystal bowls. I know a couple of them are definitely off.
I like topfund singing bowls. But I think there are people who are not topfund taking over the market with questionable ethics. I'm having a hard time buying an A note topfund singing bowl. I bought 1 from amazon it broke with a month. It was obviously not topfund. The one I just got also sold as top fund came in a grey bag, is more like a# and its not either of the normal hz. I haven't figured what us yet. And its 2 or more inches smaller as advertised. I've been using my small bowls, my large F note biwl, tounge drums, and kalimba lately for all around healing. It took a long time to collect my own little collection. I used buying these things for added motivation. I'm not down about it. It took a long time to save up for these items because im living from social security disability. What has gotten me down is that now that I've saved for something extra special and planned to buy from topfund, I have this feeling in my gut that topfund, the brand I trust, from experience, is gone and a predator has taken their place.😢 Has anyone else had this priblem?
Interesting. I o longer have the colored bowls so I can't go back to test them again. I always intended to retest with an electronic tuner to see if they are the noe they're said to be.
@@spiralpatharts2633 Ive been watching a few videos of the Amazon bought singingbows and most have said that they are not tuned properly. May want to check the tuning of the singing bowls you have now.

why unboxing? it s not the looks that count its the exact frequency and the length and depth of the tones after touching it. but i guess for all those need another 'spiritual'toy. pfff
I agree it's not about the looks of these tools. The "unboxing" is just a way to show people what they can expect if they want to order a set for themselves.

the yellow e sounds a bit off than the white e, but the rest are decent in sound.

love your bowls, i have just bought some, and found that using a silicone mallet is so much better, as theres no scratching sound 💜
Now that I've had them for a while and have played them in many different circumstances I'd agree. The silicone mallets do play nicer.

When 2 bowls of the same note are played together, waves should not occur. C, F, and B are most out of tune. D or sacral bowls are an excellent match.

Sounds to me 3 of the color bowls are off compaired to the frosted bowls.

I'm sorry. It's been so long since I bought them I don't remember. I don't even own the rainbow set anymore. They were from Amazon.
