One thing I did not mention in this video was that BOTH controllers do feature Motion Controls as well as the ability to wake up the Switch Console by holding the "home" button when connected to that Switch. This does not alter my opinion on both of these controllers, I just wanted to be sure to mention that! Which controller do you like better?!
PowerA, because the D-pad is significantly better. I also disagree, the PowerA controller is just as comfortable as the pro controller to me. The ease of use part is kind of weird because your joycons are always connected. You also have a battery indicator light that tells you its low. Nintendo does not allow licensed controllers to have rumble, that isn't on the company its on Nintendo. Same thing for amiibo support.
Does the D-Pad being slightly farther over bother you at all? I think for me, the chunky-ness kind of reminds me of the original Xbox controller. I’m glad you like your PowerA controller, though! Appreciate you watching! Have an amazing day and God bless!
I bought a power a controller.at first i though “now i can play with my brother in Minecraft”in till I realize it is a wired controller.i still use it to this day and i care for it.(i got the animal crossing new horizons style) for me it feel nice.i don’t really care for rumble or amibo. So i still like the controller
Oh that’s awesome that you enjoy it!! Especially since you don’t really care for amiibo or the rumble, that totally makes sense. The animal crossing design is really cool as well! Thank you so much for watching and god bless!
I really enjoy the Power A Controllers. I've found them typically in the $45 range in stores. Amazon makes you pay the "late tax" for some of the discontinued designs. Also, around Black Friday, the Power A Fusion Pro controller can be had for about $75 and that thing is a pro controller and then some with the extra buttons and paddles. I still use my Switch pro controller but do enjoy some Power A, to the point where their "Warriors Nirvana" model is my main PC controller now. Another contender people should look at is the 8bitdo controllers.
I play on my PC with Nintendo Switch Pro controller and I love it. It's 100% worth the money. Very comfortable with responsive controls. Also the 40-hour life battery is a beast. Totally destroying other controllers. ❤
So amazing! Yeah, the battery life is pretty amazing! Definitely one of my favorite controllers of all time! If not, my all time favorite controller of all time!
I absolutely adore my pro controller, I’ve been using it since launch day and it is easily the best Nintendo controller I’ve ever had. I hope it continues to serve me well for a few more years, but if the worst were to befall it, I would need to replace it ASAP, I can never go back to the Joycon grip for long gaming sessions, and I wouldn’t be able to ignore the shape difference between the pro and the power A
Seriously the Pro Controller has impressed me sooooo much! I know exactly how you feel about the joy con controller. I didn’t think it would be *that* much of a difference… but. It totally is! And yeahhhh, the shape difference is definitely off putting! The Pro Controller has just spoiled me 😅😅
I have the PC/Xbox wired version of a PowerA pro controller, and sometimes it just stops working. I spent like 80 bucks on it, and it's just not reliable. It looked beautiful and it came with a carrying case, but I can't count on it to work.
If you can find a great deal, then by holy, go for it. Amazon has some Power A controllers for sale during Black Friday right now. I was able to snag a Kirby one for about $15 last week. The only problem, I wished I've gotten this sooner. It's a wired one, cause I just wanna plug and start playing right away. Feels great on my hands and the controls are great.
Got the last animal crossing one at target for 34.99 once it got scanned at the register I was going to get charger 54.99 but I showed the lady the target app and she gladly matched the 34.99 price
Nice! I feel like $35 was a great price for it! Target is really cool about price matching anything from their website. Congrats! Have an awesome day, and God bless!
I love my NS-Pro but I have been using the Power A Nano for the last couple months , I love Power A controllers and the Enhanced are only 39.99$ , well worth it
I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the power a controller it felt really cheap and movement almost felt delayed, should have spent the extra money for the regular pro one
@@ourradiantgaming it helped a lot! I was fooled by the box it’s almost the same as the original… and the price was better. I was watching on this video in a Polish version of Walmart and you’ve given such good points for not buying it! The original is great! Thx!
Well if ur gonna compare controllers I think they should be similar prices and I believe the power A fusion pro is $80 as of right now and NS pro controller is $70 which is $5 closer as a price point to compare
I’ve never been able to use the Fusion controller! If I ever received one, I’d be glad to review it. I always thought of the Power A as more of a “budget” Pro Controller, so I felt this Enhanced one being $15 less was a pretty close comparison. I appreciate you watching and commenting! Have an awesome day, and God bless!
I guess you could go through and do it handheld with the touch screen. I usually just do it in my TV. I hadn’t even thought of that 😳 I appreciate you commenting that! Haha.
You can! I know for a fact you can with the pro controller, and I assume the Power A can as well. Just go to your controllers settings on your switch in handheld mode, connect the controller you want to use, and it will work! Let me know if it works! Have an awesome day, and God bless!
We bought the Splatoon 3 pro controller and highly recommend it, it looks amazing! I definitely wouldn’t pay $100 for it - you can still find it online and in some stores for retail price, $75! 😁
Something to consider, not everyone is going to know how to use those button mapping buttons on the PowerA, and the Pro Controller can be mapped in the system settings, however, the PowerA can't seem to be mappable within the system settings. Great video and it helped alot. Thanks. 😊
The last game system i ever played seriously was SNES until now, i'm addicted to mk8 on switch. I've been using dual joycon control and switched back to the powerA Last night. I hated it, nothing i tried to do worked quite as well as normal. Now i switched back to the joycon and dont feel as comfortable as i did before i tried the powerA. Is that common? Does this mean I shouldnt bother with the nintendo pro controller? Dual joycon would be perfect if the hand grips were long enough that they filled up my hands better. Although now i'm even reconsidering that, im wondering if all wireless is laggy and i need to switch to wired, which i really dont want.
I personally like the PowerA more than the JoyCon grips. I can’t hardly use the joycon grips personally. 😅 I think most wireless controllers have some sort of input delay, as well. I personally haven’t used a wired controller and paid attention to the delay, unfortunately. But, I definitely can’t recommend the Pro Controller enough though, honestly. Haha. Everything about it just feels so amazing. It’s my favorite controller of all time! Hope this helps!
I have both and use both. I think the PowerA controller is an amazing value especially when you find them on sale. The wired ones are good too when you don't need motion control. I do miss rumble but when the PowerA controllers can often be found for half the price of a Pro Controller (when you can even find one!) Well it's a no brainier.
PowerA is definitely a great value when you can find them on sale! We own a few wired ones that we got for around $20, and they are great, especially when we have friends over and need more controllers!
