- Something very different for you this week.
I love the Highlands of Scotlands. Obviously I love exploring as much of this as possible by rail but sometimes you need 4 wheels to get to some of the really remote and obscure parts.
Come take a journey with us: This is 10 minutes of pure stunning scenery. No commentary, no text, no vlogging. Just the road and the music.
I hope you enjoy.

Beautiful! Great music as well.
Thank you. I enjoyed this! Well done.
Scotland is so captivating. You just don't want to leave. Thank you.
Beautiful. I really enjoyed watching it. Thanks for posting.
Well that was flipping brilliant! Great music and I think I’ve added something to the list of adventures for Mrs F and I :-)
No Trains. No Stations. But yes to Scotland. I honestly do like visiting Scotland myself and it was lovely with the music! It was nice and calm to watch :)
So good!
Lovely video 👍🏻 Some of those roads look like they’d be great fun in a nice sports car...
Yes, shame the rental company gave us a people carrier! >.
Wonderful video, made me a bit nostalgic of the road trips we took when our children were little, wonderful times! 💖 Thank you for sharing...take really good care, stay safe!
I went to Scotland and this rlly brought me back!!! Thanks for uploading!
I sat back and enjoyed this - and the music. Ludovico Einaudi watch out.
Northern Scotland - stunning in any weather
Always atmospheric!
I enjoy these driving videos as I've done many myself.
Driven a few of those amazing roads and recognised Smoo cave in Durness I think ! An Enjoyable joinery 👍😊💫
Good spot! :)
Cracking video Team. We would love to do this trip, perhaps next year!
Beautiful scenery and lovely music; didn't need the "clever" split-screen edits. Looks like you had a fair old mix of weather; fantastic drive in *any* weather.
Wow. That's some road trip. Great scenery.
Fond memories of an 11 night stay at Durness in spring 2008. Climbed all the major hills in glorious weather. The section between there and Ullapool is truly spectacular, but I worry about the impact of this NC500 marketing thing.
Me too, but without the marketing a lot of the businesses in the area wouldn't survive. I don't have much time for those who try and 'do it' in 1-2 weeks. I've been visiting Scotland for over 20 years and have done about half what is now the NC500 route. Anyone can drive 500 miles quickly!
@@DaveP668 Yep, good comment. I was a taxi driver in the West Highlands and was often asked if I did "afternoon tours of the Highlands". Many people have *no concept* of the sheer size of the Highlands and many crossed on the old ferry, before the days of the Skye Bridge, expecting to "walk round Skye this morning". It's funny *for a while* but it wears you down after a while.😁
Grey sky and rain in Scotland? Well, that's unusual...
Hi Andy and Rachel. Very nice video with some stunning scenery. May I ask, how long should one allow for a trip such as this. Also, it would appear that I should put my car in for a service before I set off, so that my windscreen wipers are thoroughly checked out before traveling to Scotland.
Reminds me of the old saying, first attributed to Manchester, "if you can see the hills, it's going to rain; if you can't see the hills, it IS raining".
We did 4 nights, a stop in each corner but honestly you would benefit from a week. Or maybe do a couple of nights in each place. There’s so much to explore
Fantastic scenery of my country, thanks for sharing.....for breathtaking views when back in the smoke,Glasgow & surrounds, train to Fort Matilda,( Gourock Line), walk to the Lyle Hill, alternatively named Free French Memorial, spectacular views in an urban area, then walk back to Greenock West, 45 minutes, trust me, its worth it, childhood memories, childhood chill zone.....do it, check it out on google maps
I'll look it up! :)
Did you film this in the winter or summer?
May 2019. It was as cold as it looks 🤣
@@CallingAllStations ah yes ;)
Pah driving it? I've walked it (well all but about 30 miles, anyway).
Now that’s a fine way of appreciating the journey 👍

Very good, shame about the weather. I now have intimate knowledge of your wiper blades, as you do presumably.
Definitely!
