Hello! My friend. Wow! It's such a healing, beauty, and moving hiking camping ❤🌿🥀 video. Especially, the scenery of nature is fantastic. Have a lucky 💚🌿💖 day. 👍👍👍🤙👌
Despite the harsh conditions and discomfort, Becky, you sound happier and more confident these days. You find plenty of interesting things to show us. But, if you ever find yourself short of things to say, I'm sure viewers would enjoy hearing snippets of your earlier history, pre-RUclips, and how you got to be here. Sad to be near the end of the trip. Come and explore some more wilderness in the Cairngorms soon!
I’m very impressed with your trek. Your courage, cheerful demeanour and steadfastness are outstanding. I’ve done some long distance walking myself so appreciate the trials, tribulations and elations. Loving your photography , commentary and cheeky grin. Congratulations for getting this far, can’t wait for you to get to the finish line.
Fantastic Becky, really enjoying this series. So many people wouldn’t even think about tackling this ,but your doing brilliant. Some real challenges for you with wet clothes and wet footwear a lot of the time, limited food etc but you’ve showed us some amazing scenery.some amazing camera work also.best wishes to you, looking forward to episode 7.👍
I loved to see your channel! I just found this. Beautiful pictures! Now I am looking at Haze his yourney and I smile every time he says Medic! Because you told that! :)
It’s one of the best parts of the day when you’ve walked a long way through some magnificent scenery and you’re contemplating many things, or just being still, as you look out from your open tent and think, “this is just awesome.”
Amazing ability you have Becky. You are living life and taking action in finding solutions for happiness instead of living in lifes problems like so many are doing these days. You are bring to us the best in life. Your an Amazing person and and I thank you from the bottom of my heart, truly. Please keep bringing us your videos and God given talents you have been blessed with. You will one day deserve a "Lifetime Achievement Award". Your earning it now.
The section from Oykel Bridge onwards really was the best part of the trail for me, I stayed at the Schoolhouse Bothy though, met a few others and it was a good night. The Bealach at Ben More Assynt you talked about the stunning view was where I camped, the views and the sunset were as you say absolutely stunning. The following days' hike I spent just gobsmacked at how beautiful it was until I spent a perfect night at Glendhu Bothy by myself. I liked Benmore Lodge although my experience will add to your creepiness I think. A hunt was returning with a stag and a lassie I got speaking to makes extra cash from collecting animal bones/skulls from the estate and selling them on. That camp though was amazing at Ben More.
Another totally brilliant episode Becky, and those views are to die for. Your editing skills are on the money too. I get real excited when I get a notification of a new video from you, and that's saying something... from an old codger! Great stuff gal'. Roll on ep7.
Nice one Becky. It's all looking great and you're doing a fantastic job. I'm sure you'll cherish the memories made on this trip for the rest of your life.
How you're finding the time and energy to produce a top quality travel vid and hike across a rather rugged country is beyond me! Not just fascinating to watch but inspirational as well. Just Epic.
In Oregon we have a saying, " If you don't like the weather, wait 30 minutes." I never realized that Oregon and Scotland were twin Sisters! I am so glad you trusted your intuition or "Gut instinct" when it comes to strange places. It will never fail you. I feel for your wetness! You are almost at the end of your amazing trek. I keep wanting to watch " Brave Heart " again, they were a hearty bunch running through the mountains! Thank you it's brilliant..
Very enjoyable watch, your commentary along the way taking in all the highs and lows is just great, I admire your optimism, just so lovely, I certainly have not done anything so gruelling as this, but certainly know about putting wet clothes back on and packing up a wet tent! cheers Dave
Another outstanding and well put together video. This part had some verity of paths or no path. And you are also maintaining your wonderful sense of humor. Thank you Becky for sharing and looking forward to the next part. Stay safe and have a wonderful day.
Another lovely video, you are doing really well and looking very healthy and fresh faced and still that lovely smile that shows you are really enjoyed it all. Well done.
Sure... the landscape and your surroundings are pretty, but you in the scenery makes it even more beautiful to see. Lots of love and blessings from Ontario Canada. No shit!
Awesome....... definitely top of my list for my next outing. All work and no play for me at the moment. Your videos Are keeping me sane and taking the stress off my days. Thankyou X
I am so impressed with your achievement. Having spent 40 years walking some of Britain's most challenging walks and climbs I know what you have been through, and how you must have felt. To do this as a single woman is awesome. Some years ago, long before there was a 'Cape Wrath Trail' I walked to the lighthouse and back to Blairmore. Northward of Sandwood Bay there is no path, and following the coast the going is really rough. To complete this trail, alone and camping, is one extraordinary accomplishment. You have my total respect !
Woo hoo episode 6 that's tonight's viewing sorted. 😀 Fantastic episode really enjoyed it, was lovely to see Assynt been a few years since been there. Thanks for sharing.
Just binge watched ep5 and ep6 to catch up. Not sure I'd have shown such forebearance under persistent wet socks conditions, you're a total trooper. Loving following your journey and fingers crossed they let you cross the range when you get there.
I remember the endless bog before you did that last river crossing. It was actually nice to cross to wash all the big off 😂. I carried on hoping to get to the hotel but it was shut 🙄. Next day a shop 👌😊
If I had ever hiked through there, you would have seen me in the river fishing. I would still be there because I would never leave! Incredible beauty!!!
I’ve been binging your trip and have to say this has been one of the most beautiful days. Been a real eye opener seeing exactly what this hike has to offer and the challenges you’ll face. Such a great experience to have and very special that you’ll one day be able to look back at this. Thank you for sharing.
Well Becky, another stunning walk, this time through classic fly-fishing country! The walk up the trail from the Inchnadamph Hotel to the waterfall took you past several good trout lochs, and I've fished Loch Stack many times! Then from Loch Stack you took the trail in the direction of the famous and prolific Stalkers brown trout beat, but you avoided the right turn to the beat in favour of the route straight ahead to Rhiconich (pronounced Rick-on-ick with the emphasis on "on" 😊. Maybe you should have taken a fly rod after all - but with 19 miles you wouldn't have had time to fish...it normally takes me 4 hours to catch something 😁 Now going to watch the finale! 👏
Coming thick and fast another brilliant episode loving the scenery looking forward to Sandwood Bay which is special my brother in law is one of those that as done all the Monros and is now tackling the Corbetts
Oml you came on to my suggestions, eps 3 watched it then back to eps 1 watched up to this episode what an amazing journey/ hike your doing. Beautiful country, how many more episode's. New avid subscriber right here...
Another great episode woohoo !! The scenery are so beautiful and add to that, eating a spaghetti bolognese in the middle of no where….. so cool. An endless series would be nice 😊 Thank you so much for sharing 👌!!
Cool 😎 video, I camped at loch ailsh it was pretty boggy at the end of the river. I stopped at one of them huts to make a brew and get out of the rain. It's really good watching this seeing where I've been 👌. My video's are rubbish no talking in them 😂
Between the Bone Caves at Inchnadamph, past the highest waterfall in the UK, through towards Kylesku is some of the best scenery in the country. You had nice views of Quinag. A beautiful mountain to climb. Glad it went well through there. You know by now you're an honorary Scot. We just need to work on your pronunciation lol. Great work ❤️
Great video Becky. This one has the most spectacular views so far. Just lovely. You seem to be powering on, hopefully you will be able to reach the lighthouse. Good luck. Stay strong and safe.
Loving your trek Becky. As a scot who is unfit to see our beautiful country i'm really enjoying seeing this through your journey. To do what you are doing goes beyond saying well done.
I wish I looked as fresh as you after 19 miles mate. I look like something that used to live in that cave. Amazing courage & stamina Becks. Looking forward to the next one & beautiful Sandwood Bay xx
Where you camped at the end of the day is approximately 2 miles north of where my mother grew up in the 1930s to 50s. It's still a hard way of life today, but brutally tough for previous generations.
Awesome Beck's ..the meals .they do 1000 cal versions . You mentioned you could eat another, theres a lot more in them ..( but its bulk ) . Loch assynt is " a sin t " was based there for years . Luvly place , hope your trench foot sorts itself out brrrrrr .. big leather boots and gaitors ,thats how i.litterally walked my heels off .. they totally came off in my socks like the bottoms of jammy dodgers ,, great video 😊
Epic trek. Great video. Great narration. I too have experienced cold wet socks and shoes in the morning. You're a trooper. You're also a Lass Outdoors these days.
Hi Becky, another insightful episode of your big adventure. You make it look so easy. My feet were cold just watching you walk through that water. Stay safe out there. 😎
I almost feel like I'm there with you, only this is much easier watching the video. considering how much time you spent with wet feet and still kept smiling, I'm impressed. Not sure I could do wet feet to that extent. Another great video Becky, thank you. :-)
Lots of lush looking scenery in that section, also looked a very wet and cold section, as usual though you remained positive and determined. Well done, enjoyed watching, going to do the west highland way next year, if that goes well maybe I’ll try this one day.
Nice one. I've been enjoying re-living my CWT walk from the last week of august to the first 2 weeks of september this year. Only 2 days of rain and dry feet! Sun burn, midges and clegs were my biggest worries then.
Enjoyed your trip in the pac raft the other week, but this is another level. The further north you get the more stunning it becomes. Great filming and commentary, while your on the move, even if the pronunciations are a bit iffy at times 🤣🤣
Really enjoying watching this whole trek.. reminds me of some of my family trips in NZ as a nipper. It would be amazing to see you go 'tramping' in New Zealand. A lot of the terrain looks similar. Kudos. Blessings. PS You could pick up some nice thick woolly gear (sox &c) too. Kudos for your tenacity against the elements. Blessings.

Loving your trek Becky. As a scot who is unfit to see our beautiful country i'm really enjoying seeing this through your journey. To do what you are doing goes beyond saying well done.
Water proofing spray would take care of your shoes. Devise a device to hang your socks over while cooking your food. A bread toaster comes to mind.
I wish I was young again with working knees and back so I could join you on this epic hike
I wish I looked as fresh as you after 19 miles mate. I look like something that used to live in that cave. Amazing courage & stamina Becks. Looking forward to the next one & beautiful Sandwood Bay xx

Really enjoying watching this whole trek.. reminds me of some of my family trips in NZ as a nipper. It would be amazing to see you go 'tramping' in New Zealand. A lot of the terrain looks similar.
