rail gun, shield pack, 500kg bomb and a laser. Swap out rail gun to a grenade launcher if you are doing nest missions and egg missions. Honestly do not bring a mortar at all, its strong on certain missions ( mostly the kill x amount of enemies and you should bring turrets on hose missions )but it will just get destroyed very quickly in normal missions + you are moving around far too much for it be really useful in normal missions. Another good thing to use is the auto cannon although I personally don't like it as it takes up a backpack slot. I use these on helldive solo and can go in fine and come out deathless while also getting everything I would need. Laser is literally a get out of jail card, yeah it has 3 uses but it literally clears everything after you and you shouldn't need to use all 3 till you are almost done anyway, 500kg bomb can take out bigger enemies if needed on top of objs + you can get 2, the shield pack is self explanatory and the two guns are as well. Of course we go breaker as everything else is a lot worse.
Loadouts are mission dependent, don't go into every mission with the same stock loadout, that's not going to cut it at the higher mission difficulties. Base your loadout on the missions and take what makes sense for it. What you take for a bughunt is different than what you take to fight automatons. And the type of missions matters too. Don't paint yourself into a corner, be flexible.
shield pack, rail/grenade launcher for bugholes, 500kg doesn't have enough outward blast, leave too many behind. orbital laser and depending on the level orbital rail, sometimes keep laser and go with extra eagle clusters or eagles themselves have extras from the ship addons. Fun game, so many different strategies, that work pretty well!
I’m very far from an expert at this game. I’m level 23, I think, and I unlocked Helldive last night. Played a few missions on Helldive difficulty in a bug planet with 3 friends this morning, so my experience is very brief. I personally rock the eagle strike, shield regen pack, machine gun (either that or the rail gun) and the orbital laser. All this equipment proves to be quite useful against bugs on Helldive, but I can’t comment on automaton planets
The shield generator is op right now because the armor rating is currently bugged. When they fix that, no need to nerf the shield. I am waiting for that as I am a guard dog rover guy, rover just helps cleaning small mobs so I can focus on railgun armored more, also without the minimap open all the time my awareness is so bad.
Gotta say, the orbital laser is stupidly good against all manner of bot outposts/secondary objectives. I have seen an orbital laser take out an entire large outpost on it's own. It is crazy good, just don't waste it on individual bots themselves.
I do know the other warbonds are not pay to win as you can get super credits with the game itself on missions from bunkers and crates. I have never paid a dime and still got the premium warbonds.
13:30 Why would they nerf the shield pack? It only blocks so much hits, like a life bar's worth and if you still get hit after that, you are dead. It regenerates, sure, but still. Also, this thing doesn't make you tanky. It only gives you the ocasional possibility to survive a couple hits or shots.
I find it both fun and tactical. The ability to get on top of certain structures and rock formations provides such an advantage. Getting the high ground really messes with a lot of enemy ai, so long as you’re not staring down a bile titan. Better backpack stratagems exist, but it’s totally viable.
@@DaDannyDuce issue is the enemies can literally get up most areas by jumping if they are bugs and bots will just shoot you... and it takes up a slot that could literally just get rid of those enemies instead of you jumping on a rock... Which you could have just ran around in a circle and got rid of them anyway. Fun sure, useful? Not at all.
What if a monster would die in 1 shot but because your gun is on burst, you are forced to shoot 200% more bullets? I can't be the only one that thinks burst is more of a waste of ammo.
i reached 8, but still not page 4. now, i am jumping into other peoples games, so im not taking advantage of completing all the dives in a multi drop mission. (2medals for first dive,4 for the second etc)
Hating one of the most effective primary weapons is probably not the best way to approach preparation for missions. Use the tools at hand. Doesn't have to be the Breaker shotgun, there are other good options, but the Breaker is one of if not the best Primary against bugs and it's pretty darn good against robots too. When putting your loadout together, all options should be on the table and then chosen based on adversary and mission type.
Takes a few rounds getting used to but it’s worth it! Also make sure “reticle” is set to visible in hud settings. This will allow you to to hipfire with ease
thanks for the video. this is really good. I'm level 16 and I pretty much suck. But I'm surprised my favorite strategem , the rover isn't part of your suggestions. I guess you don't think the drone sidekick is worth it?
Honorary Mention: Guard Dog Rover (Lvl 10) IS REALLY STRONG VS BUGS

How do you deal with chargers with that level 10 loadout?

For me the shotgun SG8-punisher is a must, hits hard and keeps the hunters away with 1-2 shots! at early lvl
Yeahh same, struggling to find a new primary to main, the stagger is great

Good call. Guard Dog Rover is in a really strong spot rn
thank you very much for this....going to play with my sons tonight!!

Great video, I just got to level 20 yesterday and I’ve been using that exact load-out you showcased
I do know the other warbonds are not pay to win as you can get super credits with the game itself on missions from bunkers and crates. I have never paid a dime and still got the premium warbonds.
if youre wearing a shield pack, make sure you dont stay too close or infront of your team. that bubbles hitbox is huge and your team will break it.

It also blocks all CC effects like slow and knockback effects and prevents injuries. It's pretty bested backpack in comparison to the rest
I’ve seen monster and ran but this early game build will help me spread democracy with my brothers
Really well done video, very organized and helpful, coming from a new player
hi, i just bought the game. can i still follow this tutrial build recommendations ?
I stopped using the Eagle Cluster back to Airstrike cuz it woudn't destroy the science building.
Is the shotgun still good or was it nerfed?
LVL 15 jump pack is useless as hell , ill rather use Laser or even the rover instead.
Yep, I hope the devs give it a buff and make it somewhat fun to use

Hater alert
shut up you melt@@xornedge8204
what’s a good load out if i want to be a sniper for early and end game

Bro at lvl 15-20 why don’t u use orbital laser instead of jump pack
Appreciate it 😅
i reached 8, but still not page 4.

Thx for the video
I like personally like the tsla tower better than the mortar. No team skills and slows down the enemy big time.
I don't understand why you'd want the reticle on the screen constantly. It's always the middle of the screen....
Ammo is precious & hipfire is very effective in this game
The shield generator pack won’t be nerfed. It works exactly the same way it did in the first helldivers.
Hahahaha
Jump pack straight up raccoon knuckles
Raccoon knuckles is wild 😂😂
@5:50 "You can use it 3 times and it's able to take out 20 enemies per strike. So, If my math is correct, ur taking out 60 enemies..."
I hate you
😂🤣🤣
Im gonna be honest i hate the breaker. I go with the defender smg most of the time. Im only level 11 tho

I am level 3 this should help me 😅

Rover is awesome! I mentioned in pinned comment that rover can be added in to any build 🙂
@@tragidee ok, thanks. he is my favorite little guy and has saved my life countless times so far
