      Thiem ormai si è consacrato come uno dei più forti giocatori al mondo, ma se Berrettini riesce a mantenere questo livello, allora può fare grandi cose perché se gioca come contro Djokovic sarà difficile batterlo

    • @MrPatrickbuit
      @MrPatrickbuit 6 лет назад +1

      Madeleine Alba Considering the awfully low wage for players outside of the top 70, it’s hard to blame the players. Matchfixing technically isn’t cheating, either.

    • @alebhard
      @alebhard 6 лет назад +1

      You should blame the media for taking that on, again and again, instead of talking about his achievement here!!! And, come on, isn't betting cheating, too? On every channel they have all those bet ads. It's really scaring.

    Thiem has the mentality and physical fitness to compete in a five set match of a GS and he also manages how to find a way to win and I like that approach from thiem he definitely can win a major maybe on Sunday or maybe not but he can definitely do it in the future he is one for the future I tell ya with time thiem will also have to learn how to manage his game on other surfaces as well that will be the key for him but at the moment he is looking in red hot n tip top shape wish him best of luck for the future ........from an RF fan ;))))

      Andrew Ryan I hope so too... Don' t you think he made a mistake today by playing too far from the baseline? Only Borg could do that in the old days against the likes of SuperMac, if you want to win you have to be more aggressive and gain yards at a certain level

    so, at this moment during the SF, Cecchinato was not as well prepared with fitness, game plan, self-belief, experience, or momentum in the mental game. Thiem had these elements in his favor. Today, with Marco's win over Pella yesterday, he's gaining confidence, and currently ranked 22, is starting to believe in himself. It "pays" to work hard at whatever craft we are experts in, and get better and better, until we have that self-belief part covered. Go for it Marco. You're six years younger than Fabio, and only 7 places below him in the rankings. If you maintain a solid regimen, and don't get hurt, you have a shot at going really far. Magnifico!

      FedX I’m in the same boat as you pal, I do want Nadal to get beaten but there’s no way bar injury woes, the guy is a beast and he always finds a way to get things around when he’s on turmoil specially here in RG. I’d like to be proved wrong in the end but it’s a tough proposition to anyone, sure Thiem is playing super tennis at the moment but he’ll face a different task on Sunday, and those who come up with Thiem’s beating him at Madrid Masters don’t let that fool yourselves, Roland Garros is a whole different thing and it’s a best of 5 setter so that’s even more scary for the opponent . But I’d loved to be proved wrong 😁

    • @micha8469
      @micha8469 6 лет назад +1

      It wasn't super entertaining. Thiem was winning his games so easily and Cecchinato struggled hard to get his games but somehow he often managed to do the job in the end. 3th game was all Thiem and Cecchinato looked quite resigned. The most interesting part was the tiebreak where Thiem had like 5:2 or 6:2 advantage and Cecchinato tied it after failure-streak from Thiem but he managed to win the set in the end.

    Dear Roland Garros youtube,
    Can you PLEASE put a picture of both players instead of just the one who won!!! It's not that fun to watch the highlights when you know who won the match right from the start!!

      You're right but he said he wanted Thiem to win, he did not say Thiem is gonna win sunday, he just hopes so. I hope so too.

    In Europe they really celebrate and appreciate and respect one hander backhands.
    Look at the results. Two semi finalists playing a beautiful match after a beautiful tournament.
    In Australia coaches treat you like the plague if you want to tey one hander. Id expect its the same in the states.
    Van only think Chris Eubanks in the states has a one hander Nd Australia only has Chris o Connell.

    Thiem is fast and hits hard like Nadal. It's going to be a good finals.

    Imagine a player with Federer's elegancy, Novak's mental power, Nadal's physical strenght, Murray's defense skill and Wawrinka's beckhand....

    Love both Nadal and Thiem.....really love to see Thiem win his first GS. but it is going to be brutal to beat Nadal best out of 5 sets.
