Just a heads up, but I'm hearing from Josh of The Den of Nerds that *Ahsoka's* *Episode* *5* *is* *going* *to* *break* *the* *Internet.* The episode that drops 8 days from now.
Episodes with the highest IMDb score -
      The Mandalorian Season 1 (2019)
      Episode *8:* Redemption
      9.2
      The Mandalorian Season 2 (2020)
      Episode *8:* The Rescue
      9.8
The Book of Boba Fett (2021-2022)
Episode *6:* From The Desert Comes A Stranger
      9.4
      Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)
      Episode *6:* Part VI
      8.4
      Andor (2022)
      Episode *10:* One Way Out
      9.4
      The Mandalorian Season 3 (2023)
      Episode *7:* Guns For Hire
      8.8
Lots of Episode 1s, 2s, and 3s aren't getting the highest scores. So I think more people needs to calm the f down and keep watching for the better stuff that happens later from each season.
House of the Dragon Season 1's highest rated episodes on IMDb -
Ep 8 The Lord Of The Tides: 9.3
Ep 10 The Black Queen: 9.2
      Ep 7 Driftmark: 9.1
Ep 5 We Light The Way: 8.8
Ep 1 The Heirs Of The Dragon: 8.7
Ep 3 Second Of His Name: 8.7
Ep 9 The Green Council: 8.7
Ep 4 King Of The Narrow Sea: 8.4
Ep 2 The Rogue Prince: 8.3
Ep 6 The Princess And The Queen: 8.0
My personal favorites are Ep 7 and 3. Driftmark did have very dark scenes like The Long Night from GOT. But I enjoyed the kids fighting and then everyone in that room fighting. Matt Smith raved about Ep 7. It's the first episode they filmed. Ep 3 was when Daemon didn't utter a word in those last 10 minutes and kicked ass. Ep 6 was definitely the worst but still getting an 8 shows the consistency from the show.
In Game Of Thrones, usually the best episode was Ep 9 in the first 6 seasons with the exception of Season 5 as many feel Hardhome (9.7) was stronger than The Dance Of Dragons which I agree. But TDOD was still a very good episode.
      S1E9 Baelor: 9.6
      S2E9 Blackwater: 9.7
S3E9 The Rains Of Castamere: 9.9
S4E9 The Watchers On The Wall: 9.6
S5E9 The Dance Of Dragons: 9.4
S6E9 Battle Of The Bastards: 9.9
The Watchers On The Wall has a 9.6 score below S4E2 The Lion And The Rose (9.7), S4E6 The Laws Of God And Men (9.7), and S4E8 The Mountain And The Viper (9.7) . TWOTW is also tied with S4E10 The Children. I still believe TWOTW remains my favorite of S4. That episode was almost non-stop action and rivals BOTB.
Game Of Thrones Season 4 remains my favorite season. It's the one that got me completely hooked that I couldn't wait to binge watch S5 and S6. On IMDb, it has the most episodes with scores of 9.5 or above. It has a total of 5. The first 3 seasons have a combined total of 4. Season 6 has the second most 9.5+ at 3 and the only one to have a pair at 9.9s.
The Rains Of Castamere, Battle Of The Bastards, and The Winds Of Winter are top 3 on IMDb at 9.9. GOT S7's highest rated is S7E4 The Spoils Of War (9.7). I love this one. I love seeing lmon Snow and Sesskasays screaming looking like Jaime was going to be toast from Drogon. This episode was a jaw-dropper at the end.
By the time we get to S8, every episode on IMDb got a score below 8 with the highest one being S8E2 A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms when Brienne got knighted and everyone was having a good time before waiting to face the White Walkers. Love seeing Jaime, Tyrion, Tormund, Davos, Podrick, and Brienne having fun together. The final episode got a 4, lowest ever. Well deserved. Worst series finale ever.
There are 73 episodes in Game Of Thrones. There are only 7 episodes that got a score below 8 on IMDb and 6 of those 7 came from Season 8. Only S5E6 Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken at 7.9 got a score below 8.0 that wasn't from S8. That's the one when Ramsay rapes Sansa and forces Theon/Reek to watch. Yeah, I really don't like that one.
I rewatched all of The Mandalorian and Peli Motto and Migs Mayfeld are two of the funniest characters in all of Star Wars up there with Han Solo. It helps that Amy Sedaris and Bill Burr are comedians with Bill doing stand-up. Seems like Din always has a problem with his ship. Great excuse to give Peli more screen time to help fix it and to help babysit Grogu a little.
I laughed my head off when Migs asked Djarin and Xi'an in S1E6 The Prisoner if Grogu was a child created by them? Just the way he asked reminded me of Joe Pesci in Goodfellas and Casino. I enjoyed Natalia Tena (Harry Potter fame/Osha from GOT) acting silly like she's Harley Quinn. I don't often see females act wild and weird like her in SW.
Hoping to see Migs again in future Mando episodes and Kino Loy in any future SW project. C'mon, Kino was able to get out of there. Probably a couple guys who knew how to swim pulled him onto shore. Kino can still be living in the Mando timeline since there is only a 16-year gap. I want to see former prisoners enjoying their life. Serkis' best character that's non-CG.
People needs to take a chill pill on Ahsoka. Yeah, it's been slow. Rosario's Ahsoka can act so boring and Sabine and Hera aren't all that exciting either. There's no Amy Sedaris or Bill Burr to lighten things up. But patterns from previous shows have each season usually getting better near the end. Mando S1, S2, and Obi-Wan had their best episodes being their season finale.
If you watch the 2 minutes and 13 seconds Ahsoka trailer again that came out last month, most of it we already saw in the first 3 episodes. A lot it came from the first episode. I only saw a few scenes that we haven't seen yet.
A shot from behind of Thrawn walking
      Thrawn's blue face
Shin v. Sabine in the forest
      Ahsoka v. Baylan
Ahsoka v. Marrok in the forest
Another quick shot of two characters with helmets and one shoots at him (or her) after Hera utters the line, "Once a rebel, always a rebel." Not sure what's happening there as nobody online broke down that frame.
I believe once we see Anakin by Ep 5 or when we finally see characters get to "a world between worlds", Ahsoka is going to get really good. Ep 5 will break the Internet. A masterpiece episode up there with Andor's "One Way Out", Mando's "The Rescue", and The Book of Boba Fett's "From The Desert Comes A Stranger" which gave us Luke, Ahsoka, and Cad Bane.

Ashoka is too stoic in the live action. Even during her hiding phase in the short story collection and the Rebel end she emotional expressive. She has the same deliver line wait 3 secs and stare delivery. Her Fight scene in Mando is more expressive then 3 esp. of Ashoka. Even when she with Hera a person who has the same "we know this threat is coming" her guard is up. Also Sabine is a mandolorian warrior she doesnt need the force to kick ass She literally had a jet pack with a missile launcher...

I watched 3 episodes of Ahsoka, then watched the entire season of Onepiece. Ahsoka is not even close, it's a joke compared to Onepiece. The world building, the character development, the plot, everything is just well done in Onepiece. Meanwhile in Ahsoka you have dull conversations, they take 5 seconds to start talking, and only say like 3 words. Barely anything happened for 3 episodes, which is almost half the season. I don't know what went wrong with Disney but their writers are dogshit.

It all comes down to the art of filmmaking. Not only were the original Star Wars films revolutionary with visual effects, but they were actually great films (thanks to genius of Lucas). Things like shot composition, mis en scene, and traditional storytelling are often studied in film classes, and Lucas considered this in every shot of the film.
Even with enormous budgets, the new shows can’t seem to capture the magic of the old films because of a lack of vision with filmmaking. Most shots are usually flat and color graded to death, and the directing makes great actors deliver cardboard performances. I’m sure there are plenty of talented people behind the scenes, but it seems like Disney is sucking the life out of them. I bet that will be studied in film classes too.
I’m sure most people won’t be bothered with these intricacies, but as someone who’s studied film, I can’t unsee it.

Hey, working cinematographer here. In reality the director doesn't really have that much to do with shooting or lighting. Sure he has a creative vision and a look that he's going for, but it's the cinematographer's job to make that come to life, and make the director's vision look as good as possible.
Directors tend to be more focused on bringing the whole project together, and working with the actors, leaving most of the cinematography to the DPs

I just realized this just now: so often people don't think about this, but many criticisms people have of Disney-era Star Wars don't apply to Rogue One.
      So far:
      - The Mary Sueness, invincible power of the female lead.
      - The trivialization of the big bad villain.
      - The character assassination of legacy characters.
      - The absence of worldbuilding information to bridge itself with George's story.
      - The contradiction between the stated themes and the events of the story.
      - The unrealistic expectations on Disney's part that audiences are familiar with kid-oriented but canon animated materials.
      - The blatant placement of creatures that are less characters and more merchandise baits.
And now adding to the pile: The nerfing of lightsaber's lethal power.

It's understandable that Ahsoka is a little stoic based on how her life has turned out but not that the stoicism has replaced her other traits. The same applies even more to Hera who has none of the warmth, compassion or vulnerability left that made her awesome. The characters evolve and change but if that change is too drastic, you can't see the path between which creates a disconnect between versions of the character.

Ahsoka being stoic isn't the biggest issue. You can be stoic but you'll still show emotions, laugh, frown, any facial expressions. Leia, Luke, Han lived in infinitely worse timeline yet they find time to laugh, joke, get mad, show emotions. There's literally no reason nor logic to Ahsoka being emotionless. Even animation Ahsoka had waaaay more emotional expressions than the live action. I won't even mention the dull, boring dialogue in the show, it's garbage tier, even students would write better dialogue.

This cause me great pain the very first time in the first episode, I was coming from the amazing Andor finding myself again in LOVE with Star Wars. I was expecting not that very complex dialogue but a consistent one, a more logical one, then we got the horrible captain calling a bluff the arrival of Skoll and Hati, then that Indiana Joneish thing with droids porting nukes that will put Oppenhamier to shame, then Sabine running from a simple speach, A FUCKING SPEACH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD and forcing the deployment of two A Wings to chase her, A SO CALL COMMANDER RUNNING FROM A SPEACH. Then that long, stoic, simple basic almost not functional dialogue with awkawards looks each other, then Sabine stealling the orb/map from Ahoska with no reason at all and finally that stabb, THAT FUCKGIN STABBBB WITH A GLOWING STICK taking away again all the lethality and importance of one of the most cools and dangerous weapons in all CINEMA/TV/FANTSY/Sci-Fi. I keep saying it- you can portray “world weary” in a way other than being completely devoid of emotion.
I can understand Ahsoka being worn down by the trauma she’s endured.
What I can't understand is why anyone thinks that her being a completely flat, one-note character would be appealing to audiences, particularly when she is the main character of the show.
Another issue is that people who’ve never seen CW or Rebels do not have the context of her trauma to explain why she’s so lifeless. That’s a pretty big problem that just encouraging people to watch a backlog of cartoon episodes isn’t going to solve.
What they’re going to do, is reserve all of Ahsoka’s emotional payoff for a single episode, probably the finale in which she either talks to Anakin’s force ghost or has a flashback or steps back through time to that moment Ezra saved her or something. This big emotional moment will override the 7 episodes of bland, flat, stoic acting before it and everyone will praise the portrayal of the character.
I’m sorry. That doesn’t work for me. If this stoicism is intentional, the characters in the show to need to be self aware about it. The show also needs to show the characters struggling. The closest they got was Sabine’s affection for Ezra’s hologram and painting. But Sabine isn’t the main character (well, at least, she isn’t billed as such).. Ahsoka is. Ahsoka should be having these moments where we see her hidden emotions so we know that they’re in there and that her flat affect is just a coping mechanism.
    This is bad writing.

My main issue with Star Wars is still character writing. Ahsoka literally starts off with "look at this new badass character we made riding her bike and probably breaking a dozen laws and getting off scot free with a nod of appreciation to how badass she is!". It's tedious when the show is this blunt about everything. It just isn't interesting to me.
If she's some decorated war hero do you know what would have made her more interesting? Showing up to that ceremony, interacting with her fellow soldiers and giving more subtle hints that she doesn't want to be there. Actually build a character instead of forcing this extreme stereotype in a cheap, lazy way.

I might be the only fan commenting this, but I believe Ahsoka Tano should have died at the end of Rebels S2. Think about it, ever since the Jedi Order treated her harshly over a misunderstanding Ahsoka left her beloved Master Anakin behind. And many years later, she finally meets him again only now knowing he's become Darth Vader. She says she'll never leave him this time only for Vader to say then you will die. Something about that whole scene felt so Shakespeare and so poetic, it felt like the perfect way to end her character.
But Dave can't seem to let precious things go I guess.

I've watched Clone Wars & Rebels & I still think that a lot of the characters in the Ahsoka series are acting like stoic girl bosses with a little bit of nuance. The agenda is clear. The force is female. The Acolyte is also female-centric & it is strongly hinted that The Mandalorian season 4 could be centered around Bo Katan.

I liked a lot of the points but there is too much, especially in the writing, that seems much more on Dave than it does Disney. Like at some point, there has to be more responsibility placed on his end, especially in the context of the Ahsoka show. Because as much as I like Dave's star wars approach, the filmmaking leaves more to be desired.

SPOILERS FOR Star Wars Jedi: Survivor!!!
I completely agree with your point made at 17:48, highlighting the survival of several Star Wars characters in the Disney era despite facing lightsaber stabs. However, it's important to note that Han Solo wasn't the sole character to meet his demise in such a manner. For instance, Cere Junda met her end moments after a lightsaber stab from Vader. This observation might not fully justify this lightsaber problem, but it's a noteworthy instance that appears to be overlooked in discussions about characters surviving lightsaber stabs within the Disney era. Perhaps this lack of attention stems from the limited exposure of this occurrence, as not many people watching the films and shows seem to have played Jedi Survivor. Great video!

Honestly, Disney could not afford to have a show that isn’t close to perfect. They’ve let us down so many times and they needed this win. The fact that they really needed this to succeed, and it still turned out a mixed bag is kinda sad. For some other studios, I would say putting out a mixed bag show is no big deal but Disney desperately needed this to be excellent and it wasn’t. With that said, thanks to this video, I will give the show another chance. I stopped after episode 1 when Sabine got stabbed with a lightsaber. I told myself that if I watched the first few minutes of episode 2, and she is not either dead or severely injured or greatly affected in some way, then I’m done with the show. And predictably, that happened. Because it’s Disney Star Wars.

But yes Ep 3 a bit more taking off, though the scene when Ahsoka gets out of the ship is total nonsense, those three space airplanes could have surrounded her from long range and blast the shit out of the ship killing both MC righ tthere. With a more solid writing you could have Ahoska from within the ship using the force to strike the enemy planes(sorry those fighters really looks like planes stright out of from the WW2 jejeje) The point is that Ep 3was abit better than 1 and 2 but not by so much margin. 3 questions.
    1. Why should we be threatened by thrawn?
    2. If we are to be threatened by him, why do Ahsoka and Sabine risk bringing him back just to see Ezra Bridger again? That was the whole point of Ezra's sacrifice.
    3. What do the 3 antagonists want? Power? How/why? What does it have to do with Thrawn?
Basically, why should we care about any of this? The idea of a new galaxy seems ok I guess. But there is no sense of scale or what the stakes are.
From the first episode of Andor we knew what the characters want (find his sister, rise in rank in the empire, etc.) and the stakes were always there but they grew and grew with every episode until, finally, our hero makes some heroic moves.
The only reason I'm still checking out Ahsoka is in the hopes that it becomes a real story. Even with the context of Rebels. Because right now there is no reason for any of it.

    • @sageseeker9197

      1. Thrawn is basically the equivalent of Palpatine when it comes to his manipulation. He would have won if it wasn't for the space whales.
      2. Sabine was risking bringing him back because she feels like she's lost her purpose since her entire family was murdered.
      3. Witch lady wanted to bring Thrawn back, that's obvious. The Siths are clearly for season 2.
Additionally, remember how bad the first season of Rebels was? And the first one of Clone Wars? Yeah that's Filoni's style you gotta have patience.

You know, I’ve caught up with several of your Star Wars videos today and a recurring statement you seem to fall back on time and time again is that Dave Filoni is the “savior“ of Star Wars going forward because he’s the closest thing to George Lucas the franchise has right now…
I’m not a hardcore fan. I’m simply someone who just wants a good story with rich characters and world building. I don’t think that’s too much to ask for. 90% of what Star Wars has delivered in the last five years has been anything but and I can’t stress how good and bad something like Andor is for this franchise. It both shows how amazing the IP can get and simultaneously bring to light how bad and/or mid the others truly are.
But I respectfully disagree about Dave. It’s great that he “seems to be“ tuned in with what Star Wars fans “seem to want“, but other than Mando S1 (which was decent by comparable standards), I haven’t been impressed??? I’m basically watching shows out of obligation and barely coming out satisfied.
Enter Ahsoka - you said it in this video - how are people who haven’t watched any of those clone wars shows supposed to empathize with her and her story? My first exposure to Ahsoka was in Mando S2 🤷‍♂️. As far as I’m concerned, she’s just some “supposedly” important “Jedi” that has ties with Luke Skywalker 🙄. That’s it. That’s all I remember. Who tf is Sabine and why do I care? Who is the green colored Ahsoka-race person?? Idk. Stuff is happening in the show and I’m not really jiving with it.
I’d given up after episode 4, despite how that ep ended because the whole reliance on cameos doesn’t work on me anymore 🙄, but it’s BECAUSE of the people online, through explanatory videos, helping me understand the context behind that scene that I wanted to see how episode 5 played out. BECAUSE of them, not the show itself…
    Episode 5 was fine 🤷‍♂️.
I walked away from that ep feeling like Ahsoka fans would be really happy. As for me?
I’m left waiting and hoping 🤞that Andor S2 can at least reach the pinnacle “masterpiece” of what S1 was. I’m still waiting to be impressed again. I’m not feeling that here and it’s kind of ironic because ”Ahsoka” is what pushed me to go back and finish Mando S3 after I dropped it and ANDOR after I never gave it a serious shot in the first place. 🤖
Through my eyes, “Dave“ is not the answer. It’s whomever can reproduce something as engaging as what Andor was.

You said that Ahsoka at this point should be stoic because of her history and I agree, but they are not pulling it off and it's coming across as wooden instead. Stoic characters should have a strong screen presence and Rosario Dawson just doesn't, not sure if it's her or the directing. Baylan has it, Fennec has it and even to some extent Bo Katan in Mando. There is gravitas, like you WANT to watch these characters even though they're serious and not saying much. Ahsoka comes across as bland and disinterested. Instead of having Baylon and Shin infiltrate through cunning and a good plan to then take over the ship, showing the intelligence of the two new antagonists prevailing and even showing mercy on a competent captain and his team who gave their all to stop them. Why make Sabine run and skip a speech that was her duty as commander only to have her slip under an A Wing? Instead we could have had Sabine in a scene overcoming Ezra's feelings of loss and then giving the speech in front of all these people, a beautifully written speech/monologue with a camera close up to then see her tears while she cant take any more but resisting anyway like the commander that she is, that would have been BADASS. Why having a stoic Ahsoka, almost petulant and arrogant when she is full of kindness, understanding, love, she no longer has the energy of when she was young, she has learned but she is still that sweet and alive girl in there despite all the suffering and the losses she had to endure. Why this stoic portray of Hera, a similar character to Ahsoka, a loving mother, a true lover, a General.
Why this basic and almost dysfunctional dialogue empty and devoid of emotion? These scenes without logic or sense?
Andor has opened our eyes like windows bigger than the skyes.

House of the Dragon Season 1's highest rated episodes on IMDb -
Ep 8 The Lord Of The Tides: 9.3
Ep 10 The Black Queen: 9.2
    Ep 7 Driftmark: 9.1
Ep 5 We Light The Way: 8.8
Ep 1 The Heirs Of The Dragon: 8.7

Wondering if SW makes more money from movies or TV shows? I'm thinking from movies. Streaming gets cannibalized from torrents and shared passwords. I'm thinking if Ahsoka is epic enough in the later half of this season, the SW movie centered around Thrawn as the villain and directed by Filoni will definitely be green lit.
I miss those times watching Star Wars movies with bunch of enthusiastic nerds in the theater during a midnight showing. I saw midnight showings for AOTC in 2002 and ROTS in 2005. Saw TFA in IMAX 3D in 2015. All were packed theaters. Had a great time each time. Cheers were loud when Yoda fought in AOTC and ROTS.
Did you know that Andor's budget was $250M? Most expensive SW TV series ever. But it did look good because they didn't use The Volume tech as much like Mando, Boba, and Obi-Wan did. They used more practical effects and shot in real locations. Andor was really two seasons in one as Ep6 The Eye could've easily been an S1 finale.
Would love to see a new Star Wars film again in the theaters. I'm reading two will be released in May and Dec of 2026. I'm hoping the May one is Dawn of the Jedi directed by James Mangold. And the Thrawn one is in December. I'm really not interested in another Rey film.
I know so many people hates Rey but I don't feel Daisy deserves it. She was a badly written character. Maybe Rey will act older and wiser in her next film. I can see people loving Rey when the character is in her 60s or 70s and she's this old wise Jedi Master. Think Olenna in Game of Thrones. I think some of us would be dead by then if Daisy is in her 60s or 70s.
The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker were only 4 to 6 years ago. I'm not sure we should get another Rey film until 2032. Daisy will be 40 by then. And then people can start appreciating her like people are doing now for Hayden, Dustin Diamond, and Andrew Garfield. We shouldn't expect Rey to act the same in her 40s vs. her 20s as seen with Ahsoka. She's probably running a Jedi school by that point.
People can flip-flop. I remember people mocking Marisa Tomei for winning an Oscar for My Cousin Vinny (1992). Over a decade later, she becomes a very good actress. Loved her in The Wrestler (2008). SW fans can love Rey if she's written better in the next film. Give us Dawn of the Jedi and a Thrawn film or perhaps a trilogy about him. This Ahsoka series will light the fire for the latter.

While there are a number of problems with this show, I think one of the bigger ones is that it's 'telling' rather than 'showing'. It doesn't really show us in any way why we should care for these characters. It spends 2/3rds of the season TELLING us that Thrawn is such a terribly dangerous character and what a disaster it would be if he ever returned, but when we finally get to see him he's about as exciting as your average accountant.
Another problem is the way the story is structured. In a good story, every element is like a Lego brick that - when added piece by piece - slowly uncovers a larger, interesting construction. With this show, every piece is just added in a straight line in direct succession of the previous one. They fight, get a clue, and move to new area where they fight, get a clue, and move to a new area, etc. You always know where it's going and there's really nothing to be excited about. The only story line with the tiniest bit of meat to it was with Baylan Skoll towards the end and that was only touched on very briefly.
In general, I'd say the story feels highly underdeveloped. Like Filoni just stuck with whatever idea that first came into his mind. It seems to be his writing style as that's pretty much how e.g. The Clone Wars felt as well. I guess it worked well enough for an animated show targeted at (older) kids, but here in Ahsoka it falls flat.

How Ashoka is getting such positive reception, I will never understand.
The fights are boring and cut to hell.
The performances are terrible and stilted.
The characters display little to no emotion.
The 'sets' are bland and uninspired, and way too 'clean'.
    The script is horrible.
The character's actions are nonsensical (especially the villains).
The dialogue scenes are shot in the most boring way possible.
The editing is bizarre, especially noticeable in dialogue scenes.
The whole thing feels very fanfic/fan servicey. What with the return of Thrawn, potential return of Ezra, possible StarKiller reveal, it feels like the primary purpose was to just put these characters in a live action show, not to actually make an engaging piece of art.
Despite being high budget, it feels really, really cheap and just lowest common denominator stuff. The only way I think you can seriously enjoy it would be if you really, really loved rebels, and couldn't live in a world where these characters didn't make a live action appearance.

George did an interview about this and i think it still stands that the force is now dispersed in power and has decrease since the old republic or twilight rep era thereby decreasing user’s power and ability to combat. I was around long enough to see the dissent among Star Wars fandom even before the Disney acquisition. What was the issue? Pre-Disney, Filoni was known for appropriating materials from the expanded universe and twisting them in his own ways. And because his twisted version is in Clone Wars 2008, his versions trump other EU materials in canon. Never forget that. Filoni would have been a topic of controversy even in a hypothetical timeline where Disney didn't make the Lucasfilm acquisition.

reva was hit in the lower stomach both times. cauterization prevented poisoning/blood lose. survivable
the grand inquisitor was stabled in the same spot as qui gon who did get a fatal hit, but guess what he got multiple organs. he got a back up. survivable
cal was barely stabbed and where he was stabed was under his lung
while Sabine like you mentioned was a survivable hit. in her case it was right below her left lung.
the only one that wasnt survivable but was is ben but you can just blame that one squarly on bad direction. jj move it down 5 inches you acidentaly made it fatal. needs to be in stomach not abdoman and keep it away from center, dont want to nic the spine

This is just my opinion. I absolutely loved the show but i can call out a few things that scratch my head and it makes me wonder was it Dave Filoni or was it Kathleen Kennedy and her team?
I watched rebels and clone wars, so i was knew the characters and where they all left off after their shows ended. But, in some cases these characters felt radically more boring than their animated counterparts. I still very much thought the actresses playing the rebels characters did a fine job. But Sabine wren and ahsoka were always so expressive and now they are so reserved and quiet. I know they were the same character and we got glimpses of their animated version but it was a weird change.
In addition, i have no issue with female protagonist and how Sabine wren is force sensitive. But her using the force the way she did in the finale, i dont know just felt too rushed to showcase that type of ability? I try not to be knit picky but we saw this type of issue with Rey in the sequel trilogy. Someone not trained and able to suddenly use the power like a skilled master. Maybe im being just too knit picky but there were a few things that felt like Kathleen Kennedy spearheaded some things and not Filoni.
However, i still very much loved the show and it is indeed some of the best Star Wars we got in a long time! And hoping for season 2! I need more on the mortis gods NOW!

The clip you showed from the Anakin/Obiwan flashback wasn't even slow, it was quite fast. Any faster would've looked quite goofy. Yes I like fast fighting but that's not the only style or speed. And there were also moments like in Ep. 3 where the two were doing tricks with their saber without hitting anything and it looked ridiculous.

I was really looking forward to this series. Ahsoka's arc in the animated shows is excellent. But man, this show was not good. Yes there was potential, but the writing was so horrible that all that potential was wasted. Terrible dialogue, bad pacing, action without stakes, no emotional connection outside of empty nostalgia. I mean, this is almost Book of Boba Fett bad.
