Hi Laura, Thanks for the recommendation. These brushes are awesome! I'm in the middle of doing a figure for my table top rpg game and they've added allot of texture to the armour I'm paining. I'm trying to get my art to the level that I might be able to get a job or at least maybe something along side my day job. Think I've come on allot over the last few months, thanks for being an inspiration to me too see something that I might be able to achieve one day.
All of these brushes are so neat! I’m tempted to check out the packs but I know that if I start, I will spend all of my money haha!

Hi Laura! I love your work and you've inspired me to start drawing again (way over due haha) so thank you for that! I was wondering if instead of a speed paint you could do a slower step by step of your process? Like how you start, why/how you do certain things and maybe show like an over the shoulder type view of you drawing not just the screen during the drawing? Just an idea! Hope all is well. sure! I sketched with vis dev sketch, and painted mostly with Gouache Natural Flat, Gouache Flow, Gouache Flow Rough Detail, Blocky Bold, and Sponge Thick!

The first thing I bought when I got my new iPad was Max’s Gouache brush set, I just couldn’t wrap my kind how a digital brush could feel soooo creamy, still can’t tbh😊 I really want to get this brush set just for the fun of it, but I know having new toys won’t make me a better artist, just a shit ton of work on my part. Question: it looked like besides the brush’s natural (?) opacity you used 100% opacity throughout the design, would you recommend using 100% opacity brushes to strengthen color picking and creating more vibrant illustrations?

@lulusketches I know it's been years but how did you erase into the leaves at @12:19 ? My background paintings don't have a good look to them they're too textured so I'm trying to learn how to render them.

what did you use to record the screen, just regular screen recorder? also looks amazing as always
just the recorder on the ipad! and procreate records brush strokes, so some of these clips are from procreate and some are from recording my screen! :)
