Bettye Levette_Dirty Old Town

The closing number from Bettye's Barnes & Noble Union Square CD and Book signing on September 28, 2012. Her stories of growing up in Detroit in the shadows of Motown were funny, a little bit sad but always engrossing. Her three songs with only a piano accompaniment were incredibly moving. The woman is a national treasure.
