We live 4.5 hrs south of Sante Fe and visited there last month at the plaza and two museums. It's a beautiful place. Wow! It was snowing? Cool! Safe travels.
I was traveling to and from.AZ from Mn a few years ago..in winter time...woke up in hotel to full icy roads and snow/frost on ground...as born and bred in MN..i got up and on road and drove right past all the parked on road vehicles...
It’s nice to see you out and about on your own. I need to find a camping buddy until I get comfortable with the great outdoors and car camping. Only then will I feel comfortable doing it on my own. Stay brave Riley!
When I first started I stayed at campgrounds to get used to it, then tried truck stops and eventually I felt comfortable. But a travel buddy is always more fun I admit! 😁
@@RileyDoesLife I plan to try a local campground in my area for a night or two and then meet up with others. I have joined two women’s groups, but they seem to be meeting mostly on the east coast or south. I am in Southern California and am not comfortable driving that far by myself. I want to go to the WRTR in January, but even that feels intimidating. I don’t know if I have enough social battery for that, but they provide so much good information! My rig is very much like yours for now. I even ordered a heated blanket today (on AmazonPrime Day) because of one of your videos. I really enjoy following you, Bunny, and Dee… those videos are like educational sorority parties! 🤭
I live in Santa Fe but have no idea where you spent the night but I would love to camp out there on my own, would you mind giving location now that you are gone?
I don't go on long hikes anyway because I'm the one that's always out of shape lol 😂 Tyson can just keep going and going and he's the one that's always telling me to go haha. If he gets tired, I just carry him but that doesn't happen often. If I happen to go on a longer hike, I carry him in a backpack. As far as the booster step goes, he just skips it anyway and jumps over it.
That’s one nice sun set. Love the area there. I’ve only been thru Santa Fe once I hope to make it back one day. But I don’t like snow and it’s July what’s up with that
Haha I know, it’s so hot now! I miss the snow! Tyson loves to hike, I have a hard time keeping up with him sometimes lol. He’s 6lbs and and 11 years old. 😊
No, we did not. I had to go back to base camp to work, and Bunny actually met up with her dad. You can check her channel out to follow her adventures! :)
You are never truly alone….. Tyrone is there to keep you company aka tell you what to do lol 😂😂😂
He doesn’t tell me what to do…. All the time… 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hello riley & Mr. Tyson
I have grown to love the desert..It truly has so much beauty.

We’re all three just a bunch of lone lonely loners 😂
Yeahhh so lonely lolol 😂😂😂

First, it's always a great choice to stop in SF NM! Also, I think your solo content is getting better and look forward to more solo shares.
Looking forward to your next vid while I catch up on your channel. Your videos are fun, relaxing and inspirational to go out and explore.

I was fortunate that I discovered this place! 😊
Awesome video. I live in my car too. 😊
I have to ask what month was it snowing where you were
Haha this was filmed a bit ago. I don't post in real time for safety. I'm sure it's hot now! 😂

There's a lot of dispersed camping area just west of town off county road 62. It's very easy to find on iOverlander. Hope this helps! ✌️😎
@@RileyDoesLife Thank you for that!
Tyson does a lot of hiking on his tiny legs. How do you know when or if it’s too much? He needs a booster step getting in and out of the car.

does your frig noise give your stealth away?
Actually it’s pretty quiet! And it doesn’t run for the entire night either. 😁
Watching this in 90 degree heat trying to remember what snow feels like. Tyson is quite a trooper! How much does he weigh & how old is he?

@@RileyDoesLife He's doing fantastic for 11. Looks like many happy years ahead.
So you and bunny got into a argument 😅 that's why you solo now 😅
No, we did not. I had to go back to base camp to work, and Bunny actually met up with her dad. You can check her channel out to follow her adventures! :)
I can be your travel buddy!
I’m in northern Cali, let me know if you ever come out here
I have a camper van and a few dogs
