Hey Riley, that's called a low water crossing or ford. The road actually had a concrete roadbed to allow people, vehicles and water to cross (when water level is low) and not erode the roadbed. You're having some interesting adventures rolling solo. Seems like Bunny is having similar adventures. Thanks for taking us along!

If waterfalls are your happy place, plan a trip to southern Idaho (Twin Falls area). Soooo many waterfalls! And springs that come straight out of the cliff walls!

Hey Riley I like touristy stuff it's ok, but my fave is out of the way ruins and run down places with history that I camp at. Sometimes the history displayed is one sided at touristy sites.

I do understand why you wouldn’t feel safe. I felt strange just seeing the old gas station with all the graffiti. This old woman doesn’t do that kind of stuff anymore with my 73rd birthday coming in November. I stick to the easy stuff now.
