Roger, loving your videos. I’m a 28 year old gal always loved fishing since doing it with my dad from a young age. Now I go out on my own and I’m trying to better my skills and practice new techniques. Your videos have been really helpful and I’m hoping to get out on the beach at low tide and see how I go!
Hey Roger, I love your show and have watched it every week over the past year. This past week I finally got a chance to go beach fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and I had the best success of my life using the techniques I learned from your channel. Thank you so much for the amazing content. Much love and respect from Southeast USA.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one that only gets the head on occasions 😊. Worming yesterday, I missed two king worms as they were just too strong for me.😢 Another great video Roger.
Watching you is now part of my daily ritual but my beach’s are so different here in Southern California all we get are barred surf, big scorpion fish, butter lip perch cabezon, lingcod, and rockfish , you boys have five times that, plus ours ha ha ha !
Not sure what I wrote there Roger ,I think I'm missing a few letters but all good mate great videos I fishing for yellowfin whiting and having soon success I'll try and send you photo.
Roger Every time, recently, that I try beach fishing in northern NSW, Wooyung, Yamba etc there is a big swell. Then I see your video today and the seas are flat and generally are. I would kill for a flat sea and a good gutter. I spent 14 days at Yamba, overlooking Pippi Beach and there was no one fishing the beach. There were no gutters and big swells. My wife caught 1 bream which was diseased right up the northern end of Pippi Beach. That was it. Is that Broulee island shown in a lot of your videos? Keep up the good work
Hi Roger always a pleasure to watch great to see the channel keep growing. Have you tried eating very fresh dart yet ?I really like the taste if they are pan fried fillets within a couple of hours.
Another cracking video. Thank you for sharing. Any tips for pumping for yabbies? I went to Clontarf Reserve over the weekend, after 45mins and close to 60-70 tries, I'd only landed 8 yabbies.
Do a beach fishing challenge where you use one pilchard to catch worms and turn that into food for the table showing fishing can be cost effective (with the right skills).
Hey Roger there’s a lot more reef around that spot than I first realised from watching other videos, the benefits of searching out places at low tide. Now I see why you fish there so often 👌
What are the advantages of casting out as far as possible on the beach? I caught a Jewy once off the rocks in coffs harbour once, 10lb line, snapped me off at the rocks. Devestated
Another great video. My question is what size swivel do you use for what size line. Do you use a large swivel with light line 4kg etc or a small swivel. Swivel sizes are a mystery to me. I usually fish 10 to 12 pound line off the beach.
tried catching worms today the first time, managed to attract them with pillies but my fingers are just not trained yet on grabbing them well and quick. found 5, but didnt manage to catch a single one
Do you never use baitcasters or convential reels ? Love your videos Roger, you've taught me a lot. Personally, I cast a lot further with conventional reels
Great video as always Roger! Thank you for inspiring me to give another form of fishing a go. Bought my beach rod and reel, now time to master worm catching. 🪱
I was there monday till friday fishing there roger.( im sure im not the only person who knows that spot i wont say the spot as you dont add it to your post description). I would love to share my photos with you and even fish with you one day as my nan lives right next to the bridge as you head down the street to the beach. I caught a 74cm flathead off thay same spot on high tide on monday evening. Thanks roger love your videos! I hash tagged you on my instagram post. Maybe you can see my image there

Hi Geoff, we often get big waves here too. I prefer to fish when the swell is around 1 meter. That is Crampton Island in the background
Hi Roger always a pleasure to watch great to see the channel keep growing. Have you tried eating very fresh dart yet ?I really like the taste if they are pan fried fillets within a couple of hours.

Look for yabbie holes

How do you keep the worms you don't use. 😊
Hey Roger there’s a lot more reef around that spot than I first realised from watching other videos, the benefits of searching out places at low tide.

Cool, thanks

Do you ever use braid?
Do you never use baitcasters or convential reels ? Love your videos Roger, you've taught me a lot. Personally, I cast a lot further with conventional reels
I don't think distance casting is necessary here
What are the pros and cons for hollow tube sand spikes versus thin steel SPIKES?
How do you prepare your trevally Roger
Hi Roger, have been watching your videos , they are great.
I would like to know what brand are your water shoes and where you got them from.
