Almere Noorderplassen (Blauwe vaarroute)

#Noorderplassen-Oost has been in existence since 1991 and in addition to three apartment complexes, there are 250 #homes, all of which are located on the #water. There are several #beaches and a restaurant called #Boathouse. A health center and two primary schools are located in Noorderplassen-West. Since 2012 there is also a supermarket.
Noorderplassen-West has been under #development since 2000 and has grown into one of the most #beautiful #districts of #Almere. It is the #residential area with the most water and the most #forest. The district is situated between the #nature #reserves #Lepelaarsplassen, which is rich in many #bird species, and the forests of the #Pampushout. In addition to deer and foxes, otters and beavers are also found here.
The district has two #marinas. Many houses are located on the water and have their own #mooring facilities. It is even possible to #sail from home to the #supermarket by boat to go #shopping. The streets in this district are related to shipping.
The #sailing routes are part of the #Blue axis, which connects the #Markermeer with the #Gooimeer. The #center of Almere can also be reached by boat via this route.
