Hey, there! I hope you enjoy today's video for inflexible people or people who struggle with mobility and flexibility! Let me know how the class went for you in the comments below!!
Love this video, its a slow start for me but I feel the strength and flexibility increasing every day in my legs and hips. Thank you for realizing some of us are even more beginner and less flexible than most of the beginner yoga videos!
At the beginning of a new fitness journey - this finally looks like an inflexible beginners class that I could actually do. I've wanted to do yoga for years but even the most beginners videos look too hard. Excited to get some props and get started
I'm just getting back into yoga after years of not practicing. My three year old watched me do this practice with utter fascination (he's on the spectrum) and then decided he wanted to do it. He literally does this whole practice, start to finish, with all the props. I roll the blanket for him but he does everything else all on his own and it's so precious. He even says namaste at the end. So thank you for giving us something new we can do together and bond over!
Thank you for looking out for all the people who cannot twist their bodies into pretzels and wrap their legs around their necks! I was a cheerleader 40 years ago (i repeat, 40 YEARS AGO) and I can't do the things I used to! This is perfect. You just got a new subscriber!
THANK YOU!!!! Finally a video of things that I can actually do that are actually stretches and relaxing and aren't excruciatingly painful on the muscles and joints.
So glad I found this! Feel defeated by other 'beginner' yoga videos. Have been having severe pain in lower back/hips, it was waking me up during night. I felt a lot of relief from first time doing this. Now on day 5 and it has made a big improvement. Thank you.
Thank you thank you thank you! I have to agree with many other comments - finally Yoga I can do! I tried another video and fell at the first hurdle, as I can't sit cross legged - never been able to and it wasn't something I did as a child. The best part? I substituted some of the items; used a resistance band as a yoga band (it was a thick long one that I had to hold just right), and used a shoebox in the absence of the bricks. Even with limited space I was able to do this, so thank you once again! 🙂
Thank you for creating this yoga video for inflexible people. I found you through searching those very words and appreciate your consideration, use of props and guidance, for this. It was enjoyable and achievable, yet nicely challenging (& adjustable). Thank you!
A really easy to follow session, perfect for beginners as well as someone like me who is returning to yoga after 10 years...so I have become very inflexible. Thank you for your clear instructions. I can't wait for my next yoga session with you :)
I am very inflexible and this class was perfect for me! I was able to complete the class, feel the stretches, and do all the moves, which is not usually the case. I will be tuning in regularly! Thank you! I just need to get some yoga blocks.
Thank you so much for this video. My poor abused body could actually do everything. Your pace, delivery, explanations and even the quiet moments were all so perfect for me.
Thank you for this beginners class, I've recently started morning prayer & meditation.& now have incorporated a few of your videos, yoga for beginners & feel so much better in a few days...so thank you Christina, very gratefull,
Thankyou so much! This is perfect for my beginning journey of yoga. I have taught dance fitness for 8 yrs and have got super tight hips and hamstrings even though I stretch after each class. I really enjoyed this and will try to make it a daily practise to try get some flexibility back.
Thank you for this class. It really helped a very inflexible and unfit me to feel like I could achieve something of yoga. Sometimes other beginner classes are even too difficult. This was pitched just right for me.
Also, I have plenty of beginners sequences! Definitely give my “Hatha Yoga for Beginners” classes. There are quite a few. Just search within my channel pages 😊
Hi, This yoga routine has really helped me. I hurt my back lifting something too heavy and think i hurt/tore my tendon in my middle back on one side about a year ago. I have had pain on and of from then. Never able to really do any exercise without hurting myself again. I have been doing your routine for last month about once week. This has really helped me. How often can this routine be done a week? I am new to yoga and my back is not very flexible. Thanks
This is great! I am tall and have really tight hamstrings. Some yoga poses are very difficult for me, so this video is just what I needed. Thanks for pointing out the hamstring/muscle attachment at the back of the knees. I always wondered why the backs of my knees hurt during forward folds. I’ll be more careful from now on!
Yoga room is decorated and the carpet is down! Just need to get it set up and get a couple of bits of furniture, crystals etc It'll be so good to have a nice space just to escape to. Loved this practice very soothing 💕💕💕
Hey, great video thank you. At the end post, I experienced some lower back pain, almost like it needed to crack. Assume this is due to the big stretch on the hamstrings? (I’m really really tight)
Hi again, I am a senior n for a very very longtime l am not able to accomplish the “Indian” pose sit. How long will it Take me to be able or will l!? I have been somewhat regular with this video only…. technique n still unable . Should l refrain from trying or to try something different? What is your suggestion ? I certainly enjoy keeping up with you… thank you
I have enjoyed this video! I was wondering if you could do a routine for those with Fibromyalgia and/or Degenerative Disk Disease. I would like to progress into something more challenging but do not want to do any more damage to my back, so something that could aid in that would be fantastic! Thank you so much!!!
Hey christine I loved this yoga.but I want to ask u one thing, whenever I do shavaasana with my fold blanket I feel pain in my lower back and my neck. Please suggest me.
I watched another compete beginner yoga and the instructor started with sitting with crossed legs on the floor, assuming that is something everyone can do. I can't manage that it yet. I felt tension right away which affected everything else. Thanks for making a good starting point for me.
Brilliant for me. I wanted to start yoga to help me be able to bend to get my socks on again, but most videos I have watched for inflexible people, I can't even get into the first position. I could do all of this, very pleased
Oh this was good. I wish though that there had been an option to put the back knee down in high lunge as that isn't accessible to everyone. I really dont like the phrase "full expression" either. The reality is, that people are either never going to get to the "full expression" of a pose or maybe can only reach bc they are exploiting their hypermobility which isn't healthy. It has really negative connotations and can make people feel like what they can do isn't "good enough" when ofc yoga isn't about perfection 😉
unfortunately I don't have any of the equipment...I could make subsitutions for blanket and strap but not sure what I can replace the blocks with....so will have to stop half way.
There are plenty of other yoga channels to watch, so please go elsewhere. Also, if your back hurts in savasana, try putting a rolled up blanket or pillow under your knees. I start many beginner videos in savasana because it is a simple position where one can ground and center themselves before a practice.
it would possibly help to put a rolled up blanket/rolled up towel/pillow or similar under your lower back (I have a bit more swayback (unsure of terminology)(I have to bring my knees up to my chest for my lower backto touch the ground) than most people, and this sometimes helps me)

Good class, I like that you moved slowly into new poses so I could follow more easily
I had to mute but I'm glad I found this workout.

Today Is tried it for the first time. On every single pose I feel the stretch but in a good way. Thank you for the video. Hopefully it will help :)😃
finally something for the REALLY inflexible! Kind of hard to find. Thank you so much!!

Thank you for this video, it’s perfect for my level of inflexibility
Thank you so much for having a video that is for ACTUAL beginners who might be incredibly inflexible! (like me)
I made unthinkable progress with you in just 2 days. Thanks!

This is fabulous for an out-of-practice yoga gal
This was wonderful! I found you on Roku! Thank you for building people up to get to a stretching point! Wish you had a sequence to gradually improve.
That’s amazing!! Thanks so much! 💛

Yoga strap? Is there somewhere I can download one?
Edit- Oh gosh yoga blocks as well......
Edit 2- Thank you, I will do this again tomorrow.
Lovely class!

Thanks, great to do a yoga class where I was not struggling to get into position.
I love this very simple set of poses/stretches. I wish you would add cat/cow and a deeper hip stretch to this. Thanks!
4:24 do we have to call 911? :D just kiddin' though
This lesson was amazing, I felt super relaxing and motivated! Thank you for what you do! ❤️
where do you get yoga blocks?
Relaxing lesson.
I've been doing these exercises but the lunges are hurting my knees. Can you suggest a replacement exercise. Thank you

Really liked this - just didn’t realise at the beginning you needed ‘equipment’...
they can be replaced/substituted quite simply, for example i used a strip of fabric and the edge of my bed
Thank you for sharing this video. Hope you post more.
unfortunately I don't have any of the equipment...I could make subsitutions for blanket and strap but not sure what I can replace the blocks with....so will have to stop half way.
Way too much talking, not enough time stretching. Starting in savasana hurt my low back.
