Wanted to scream at my monitor for this guy to get his head out of his ass, work 35-40 hours like other normal adults and get your sh*t together. Being ''social with friends'' invite them over for a home cooked mael that costs like 10 percent of eating out... just a mindblowing idea for this baby.
This guy is a walking red flag 🚩. He trains in a dirty gym, trains with an infected leg, almost brags about hurting people, seems astonished he needs to work full time and doesn’t understand how to socialize on the cheap …wow. 😮
I was going to say this. I’ve wrestled/ BJJ/ Martial arts my whole life and not ONCE gotten staph or any type of gnarly infection. Dude is just plain nasty
@@NatePrikkel dude's probably working out/gym 6 hours a day and showers once a week or something. I don't do martial arts but nobody I know that does, has had this serious of an issue with infections or injuries that they've needed to budget for the damn medicine regularly.
This should be in description or smth before the video - as this message made me wanna watch the episode Before reading it I assumed it will be smth else And now I’m interested:))) because partly I know what’s the “plot” is
The gym I go to literally disinfects everytime after we use pads/gloves. It's pretty similar with how we disinfect equipment and ourselves when taking care of isolation patients. That gym must be very nasty lol
My first thought too. If you're getting multiple staph infections and shit either your gym is nasty, or you're nasty, or both. Find a cleaner gym or start taking better care of yourself.
I had a martial arts school, a family business, many years ago in a past life. We moped and disinfected the mat in the morning before noon class and again before evening classes. I never heard of someone getting an infection and if they did the negative exposure would certainly damage our enrollment.
not an mma guy but i work out in boxing gyms pretty regularly and if you were there for more than an hour you always saw someone walking around cleaning and sanitizing every piece of equipment, gloves the gym lent out to people ect... if they dont do this regularly a good indication you shouldnt be working out there
Lol there’s no way he “trains” that much. He can be in the gym for six outs but no way hes actually working out those 6 hours. Acting like he’s getting paid hourly by the gym lmfao
@@Poopiepies he said that he only trains 3 hours and the other 3 hours is classes which usually means drilling. Even 3 hours everyday is a ludicrous amount of time especially since he is not at one of the competition gyms in the country. If you are getting staph it means either you don’t bathe or it is a a bad gym (excluding DaisyFresh but that’s a whole other issue)
"You get to choke people out. Break their arms, legs. You can do pretty much whatever you want to a normal human." I'd never once roll with this guy. Mf needs therapy.
I find it odd when people send hrs in the gym/ jujitsu daily but smoke and eat out everyday. There's no way you can fully hit your potential in the gym slowly killing your lungs.
Eating outs fine, I know plenty of athletes that enjoy a good meal out. They can be a pain when it comes to orders though (lots of off menu requests). The smoking is crazy.
There's no way he's training that whole time, but yes that gym sounds nasty. At my gym the high intensity classes aren't for more than an hour or hour and a half.
Gym sounds unhygienic, most places after one class is done, they clean the mats down, clean equipment for the next class, ypu don't want to be rolling around in someone l else's sweat all day, and staphylococcus is contagious, just like ring worm, he shouldn't be training till it goes away, and frankly u wouldn't of let him touch my producer either
When my husband broke his neck, I worked a day job and a night job, gave up uni and had to sleep in my car in between jobs because I was working that much. I was only 20 and working almost 80 hours every week for almost a year. This dude does not know sacrifice and his life is going to be miserable with his mindset he currently has.
As a former wrestler, I would NEVER let someone with a skin infection wrestle me or show a takedown. And I'd never work out on mats that continuously give skin infections. Go somewhere that believes in sanitizing their mats.
If he continues to get staphylococcus and act like its nothing, let me take a pill, and keep training, i bet he isnt taking time off to get his treatment, it can develop into mrsa and that can be life threatening, he is acting like a child
@@zacknelson8918came here to say the same staph is no joke 🥲 ive had it years ago when i was a dog groomer i had a small cut that was constantly wet from bathing dirty dogs and impossible to keep clean and dry no matter how many protective measures i took and tried to keep it covered and it started as just a small scratch so i didnt care too much at first thinking it would heal in a day or two, until the constant dirty dog environment it turned into a bad staph infection and was GOREY it was like a zombie bite and had to be packed and strong antibiotics ugh it sucked i would not play with staph id treat it like the plague now 🙅🏼♀️🙅🏼♀️
Hey its the mecca of jiu-jitsu man. How fucking long does it take to sanitize a mat before and after you use it. 😂 im assuming everyone else won't clean it after so you have to before
Disgusting. No parent should let their student athletes anywhere near that facility. Wrestled for 8 years and not once did I catch anything... We bleached the mats before and after, showered, and used a foaming protective barrier product that you could apply to your entire body every single day. He is definitely the smelly dude you would hate to get paired up with at a tournament.
The concept is to *be able to*. It sounds cooler to the person doing it if they phrase it like that. It doesn't sound as cool to say "it's like wrestling with holds and joint locks"
This guy needs to let the public know his dojo so everyone else knows not to go there. MONTHLY staph infections? Dude needs to spend one of those six hours cleaning the place 🤢
it’s possible it’s just from being hands on with people who already have infections. even if they disinfected the whole dojo, people will still spread it from skin to skin contact. everyone should clean bill of health before they’re allowed in
@aceman0000099 people can be carriers for staph . And if he's getting recurrent infections then he should really be tested to see if it's a carrier and then he could get treated for it
He is cracking me up being 23 years old and saying he can’t imagine working more than 30 hours a week because he hasn’t done it in so long. You would think he had worked 25 years and retired once already! Bless his heart!
I’m 23 turning 24 and I also refuse exactly the same my max would be 30 maybe 35 a week I would like to remain in a high paying off time position because my husband doesn’t mind and it is for my mental health. But I also wanna buy real estate and invest and retire early because screw working.
As a former wrestler you seriously need to clean the mats after every practice with a disinfectant. And it's a 2 step process. 1st step is to clean and 2nd step is disinfectant and it needs to stay wet for the appropriate amount of time. Do it right and you will most likely never have an issue.
Nobody believes he worked 120 hours a week ever…. 15 hours a week is absolutely insane. Nobody wants to work 40-60 hours a week but we do. Of course he likes 15 hours a week but that’s so pitiful I wouldn’t want a person like that in my life. Way too old to have that mindset, he’s not 18 and in college full time or something.
Like... 120 hours is 5 days working 24 hours no sleep... math isn't mathing hahaha... the fact he thinks that is even a convincing statement is hilarious! I worked 300 hours this week XD i bend space and time to do some overtime... unless he does multiple jobs and overlays them (i.e. slacking off at multiple jobs at the same time haha)
He's being dishonest about his finances. He's an Only Fans content creator and has 18k subscribers. That would mean over 100k a month in secondary income which is why his spending and finances make absolutely no sense.
From going to 150 to 15 is the most ridiculous statement he said among many other stellar moments. I used to work 80 hours and 40 felt like a part time job. 15 would be a vacay. As soon as I dropped hours to 40 I started part time course in university. 150 is impossible unless it was a one off but I don’t believe him. I think it’s his brain math
I worked generally 80 hours a week but 120 occasionally as a boilermaker welder. It certainly wasn’t every week we did 120 but I agree, I never heard of anyone doing 150. Doing every week is unbelievable and in doable.
The skin conditions from contact sports like jiujitsu are from a serious lack of sanitization of the wrestling mats. You can only recommend better sanitization from the facility owners, but having sanitizing wipes for post-training is highly recommended. For him to continue training with an ongoing Staph infection is a direct danger to other trainees.

@zacknelson8918 🤢 This is why I don't go to public gyms anymore! I built a small home gym since seeing nasty gym goers not wipe down what they use. as someone who trains BJJ everyday as well, I promise we do not all have staph infections, all you need to do is clean the mats often enough :/ I have trained averaging one class a day for the past year and a half and have NEVER gotten any skin issues
Same here, but I did mma, and staphylococcus like ring worm spreads by contact very easily, he shouldn't even be allowed to set foot in the gym until his infection is gone, if it doesn't become antibiotic resistant
Thanks. I was watching that part in disbelief thinking, "I'm no doctor, but everyone in BJJ cannot just be full of anti-biotic resistant staph infections." They're not cleaning properly and still rolling while infecting people from the sound of it. Actually fucking disgusting.
Whether you pay quarterly doesn’t matter for how large your tax bill is. The law is to pay each quarter or risk having a late penalty with interest. You are mandated to pay quarterly based on IRS guidelines. This doesn’t effect your total liability unless you get hit with penalties
He had a job where he was earning 10-12k a month for 3 years and still manages to have no savings or a house so I can’t see him learning a damn thing 😂
Brown belt in jiu jitsu here. I’ve had reoccurring staph infections before. Mainly comes from you not going straight home and using antibacterial soap. Maybe stop going straight out to eat after training 😂 the bacteria spreading from the mats and others is literally caked on you man. And if the gym owner isn’t cleaning the mats after every training session that’s your sign to leave that place. An owner that doesn’t take pride in his gym and doesn’t take care of his customers is unacceptable. Plenty of gyms in Austin
I got staph once, four months into training, and it was my fault. Realized I wasn't taking my hygiene seriously. 14 years later, it remains the only time I got it, and I still remember how rough it was. Very glad to have a head coach who sanitizes and cleans daily, because I've seen gyms out there like this numbnut's, and hell no.
Whats crazy is this guy could have actually gotten away with working only 20 hours if he didn't fuck around and lose his entire emergency fund and if he was more frugal.
Regardless of the insanely lazy work eithic... can we talk about how rampant infections are running in his gym...? That is not as common as he is making it out to be. Either this dude does not take showers after training or the gym doesn't sanitize the mats before and after training sessions. That is for real disgusting and I bet it's both.. BTW you best sanitize that desk after be plopped his bare infected foot onto of it...
Yeah he's definitely either not taking his hygeine seriously or the gym is filthy asf and never gets cleaned properly. Because I did judo for 6 years and I never once got an infection from it.
Not sure I get the ending... a staph infection??? no offense to this guy, but this dude has what can become a very dangerous very contagious bacterial infection and y'all let him touch your editor with a throw/choke.. It spreads through contact. And this guy is still spreading that shit around at his gym, jesus christ. Dude should be quarantined until that issue is taken care of fully. only 25-30% of adults have staph on them, this guarantee you state has a 70%+ chance of being incorrect. Lawyer here. Prettttty sure he had a claim against that company for inducing him to move then bouncing on him. At least maybe for the wages he was promised during the period of them kicking the can down the road. Honestly, this was a REALLY great intervention. There's tons of red flags, but he's a kid. I see hope for growth here. Going through the realizations is rough, but it looks like he got it in the end. Actually looked like a decent breakthrough compared to the recent people who have been on here.
He’s 23 not 35. He definitely missed the part of growing up where you start taking responsibility for your actions. Spending 6 hours a day on a hobby is something you do when you don’t have to worry about supporting yourself. He just didn’t want to stop being a kid. Hopefully that changes.
My husband used to teach American kenpo and my kids are black belts. Not once have they gotten any sort of skin infection because their dojo is strict about health protocols (sanitizing mats and gis, sidelining anyone with open wounds, etc.). I know it's a risk but it's easily mitigated. The rate he is claiming is disgusting. MRSA is no joke and it sounds like they are breeding it for funsies.
To be fair to him, in BJJ you're literally rolling around on a sweaty mat, rubbing skin to skin with a load of sweaty guys for hours at a time. If you train 6 hours a day like him, infections are practically inevitable from the sheer amount of time spent in the pathogen danger zone, even at gyms with very strict hygiene.
Even when I was in MMA (including BJJ) and wrestling we only had one ringworm breakout and that's cuz someone hid it and lied. We bleached the mats and sidelined everyone who was infected and had no additional infections.
Caleb, I think it's really great that you ask the guests to articulate what specifically they will do to change their situation. It's so easy for people to just say "I'm going to change" or "I'm going to increase my income" but taking that extra step to ask "but how specifically?" really forces them to come up with a plan on the spot, even if they may not fully buy into it. You can tell when people really want to change versus people who just want the conversation to move on at that point.
Caleb, I am a tax accountant and I love your show. You deal with so many things I try to help clients with!! As a note, 1099 NEC’s are not a legal way to pay employees and a large portion of this countries small businesses are either mistakenly paying their employees this wage or are lazy and don’t want to pay the extra money needed to legally pay the correct wage. Paying this type of “wage” to an employee turns them into a small business owner and subjugates them to self employment taxes that they should not be paying. This is a large problem that I believe the majority of this country is unaware of. Thankfully this individual seems as if he works for MULTIPLE institutions which makes this a reasonable way to pay him. Nonetheless I’m always on the lookout to identify this difference for clients.
Thanks for mentioning this because I was also wondering. I worked a side job over the summer and they gave me a 1099 NEC and this years taxes have been a disaster because of it.

I like working short hours, short weeks (15) wow, my jaw dropped, I thought he said it wrong, 15 hours a week LoL, this mess is COMPLETELY self-imposed
He makes about $40.83 an hour. If he makes that working a full 40 hr week, it would take less than 6 months at the budget he was given for him to become completely debt free, including his vehicle. Having a 6 month emergency fund is ideal, but for most people it's not something that they will be able to suspend their life to achieve. Even for a low income person with zero debt, it will still take years to save enough for a 6 month emergency fund. He wasn’t aware of a bench mark he would need to reach at 30 to reach retirement. For a guy who doesn’t want to work, he’s going to be working till he dies. I think it was a right frame (getting to safety) but he was so in the weeds, he wasn’t even aware of what he needed to be ‘on track’ for retirement.
This guy needs a reality check. If they guys at his jiujitsu gym aren't telling him to take a break after they see this he's not at the right gym. Especially if he's getting regular staff infections.

Before reading it I assumed it will be smth else
And now I’m interested:))) because partly I know what’s the “plot” is
I trained in martial arts for 6-7 years and never once saw anyone in my classes get a skin infection. That place must not disinfect anything...
no, this guy doesn't know how to shower. Didn't he say they train then go out to get food after?
The gym I go to literally disinfects everytime after we use pads/gloves. It's pretty similar with how we disinfect equipment and ourselves when taking care of isolation patients. That gym must be very nasty lol
My first thought too. If you're getting multiple staph infections and shit either your gym is nasty, or you're nasty, or both. Find a cleaner gym or start taking better care of yourself.
I had a martial arts school, a family business, many years ago in a past life.
We moped and disinfected the mat in the morning before noon class and again before evening classes.
I never heard of someone getting an infection and if they did the negative exposure would certainly damage our enrollment.
not an mma guy but i work out in boxing gyms pretty regularly and if you were there for more than an hour you always saw someone walking around cleaning and sanitizing every piece of equipment, gloves the gym lent out to people ect... if they dont do this regularly a good indication you shouldnt be working out there
Only works 15 hours per week but trains six hours per day?! He trains twice as much as he actually works. WTF.
Lol there’s no way he “trains” that much. He can be in the gym for six outs but no way hes actually working out those 6 hours. Acting like he’s getting paid hourly by the gym lmfao
it is actually closer to 3x as much time spent "training" vs working :)
Definitely hangs out at the gym with his friends. Not actively training
True. He should be competing if he is spending that much time just training.
@@Poopiepies he said that he only trains 3 hours and the other 3 hours is classes which usually means drilling.
Gym sounds unhygienic, most places after one class is done, they clean the mats down, clean equipment for the next class, ypu don't want to be rolling around in someone l else's sweat all day, and staphylococcus is contagious, just like ring worm, he shouldn't be training till it goes away, and frankly u wouldn't of let him touch my producer either

it’s possible it’s just from being hands on with people who already have infections. even if they disinfected the whole dojo, people will still spread it from skin to skin contact. everyone should clean bill of health before they’re allowed in
It’s him probably. He’s not showering right after and having basic hygiene.
I wonder if it's a circular trail of infection where he infects himself
@aceman0000099 people can be carriers for staph . And if he's getting recurrent infections then he should really be tested to see if it's a carrier and then he could get treated for it
It's more common than you think.

As a former wrestler you seriously need to clean the mats after every practice with a disinfectant. And it's a 2 step process. 1st step is to clean and 2nd step is disinfectant and it needs to stay wet for the appropriate amount of time. Do it right and you will most likely never have an issue.
Him and his gym sound like dirty hippie rollers that don't clean and party instead.

The skin conditions from contact sports like jiujitsu are from a serious lack of sanitization of the wrestling mats. FYI - the federal limit applies across all your Roth IRAs. You can’t max out multiple IRAs to the limit, it has to be as a total.
Congratulations & great job!
Oh yeah, it sure is his birthday huh? He said it was on Valentine's Day
Woah that's awesome, congrats, seriously!
Lawyer here. Prettttty sure he had a claim against that company for inducing him to move then bouncing on him. At least maybe for the wages he was promised during the period of them kicking the can down the road. Continuing to spend like crazy would probably undermine his damages case, but it's definitely a claim he could've looked into.

Honestly, this was a REALLY great intervention. There's tons of red flags, but he's a kid. I see hope for growth here. Going through the realizations is rough, but it looks like he got it in the end. Actually looked like a decent breakthrough compared to the recent people who have been on here.
35 not a kid
Hes 23@@jaynol4580
@@jaynol4580he’s 23. 35 was the debt free stage if he doubled his hours.
He’s 23 not 35. He definitely missed the part of growing up where you start taking responsibility for your actions. Spending 6 hours a day on a hobby is something you do when you don’t have to worry about supporting yourself. He just didn’t want to stop being a kid. Hopefully that changes.
"I like working short hours"... who doesn't???
I mean I prefer long hours less days a week. I get 36 hours in 3 days and I think more jobs should be like that
My husband used to teach American kenpo and my kids are black belts.
@thegrinderman1090 In jujitsu you can also clean mats and wear rash guards. No one at my gym has this problem.
He seems like a fungi (fun guy). I’ll see myself out
🤨he’s 23 and refuses to work more than 30 hours a week???? Who raised this person???
Tell this to Doordash, amazon, etc
I also have a big feeling he is writing off everything, not just the business use %, based on what he was saying
@@flonkas It's obviously a legal way to pay people as long as you don't give them employee status in any other way. Especially this way since the guy says he turns down assignments that might have him work more than 15 hours per week. He is clearly the definition of a contract worker.

Hi
You ever notice that the people in the videos almost *NEVER* participate in the comments sections? 😂
Agreed. Especially working only 15 hours a week... what did he think Caleb was going to say?? How did he not know he was going to be embarrassed?
As a BJJ practitioner, its very easy to get an infection IF you’re training facility isn’t consistently cleaned AND/OR you have bad hygiene. Always shower immediately after rolling especially if you’re doing 3 hours at a time like this guy. Something I doubt he’s doing
Maybe he should become the janitor and get PAID doing it! 😮

Former Greco-Roman wrester and current bodybuilder here: DO NOT LET THIS DUDE NEAR YOU. Fighters like this will try and injury you during 50% speed practice for an ego boost. Not to mention the lack of basic hygiene practices after training. Also, training for 6 hours a day is about double what you need. At a certain point you get to the diminishing returns area (spoiler alert it’s around 2 1/2 hours). That goes for lifting and wrestling. This dude needs some cognitive therapy and an ego check.
This guy needs to grow up. I literally worked 60 hours a week until I was 35 weeks pregnant because that's what I had to do to no go into debt getting everything for baby and during maternity leave. It's called being an adult just like Caleb says

I know a lot of people that like never made it out of the college "everything is free" mindset with housing covered. And then roll out of college and suddenly have tons of free time while still working a part time job, or no job at all. Instead of getting a full time job like every normal person, they spend more money during the free time.

Exactly! I work 15 hours in one freaking day!

By all means work towards that, but don't put off otherwise spending within your means to find fulfillment in life to do that.
